    [size=8][color=#223649][size=8][color=#422b39]&& personality; [color=#333f49] Maartje Hartjes is truly a strange creature. a skinny jerk, someone who doesn't really belong to this world or another. she doesn't belong to anywhere really. she's a person with depth to her personality, with many layers. a quiet, not-so-social but full of superficial charisma when she opens up, manipulative little girl.


    she's a drawing, the base is simple; she is painfully quiet. Maartje doesn't really like to talk and when she does, her voice is very faint; truth is, she can't speak louder. everything that's louder than a whisper itches her ears, the gravity depending on the loudness. she is like a dainty flower made of glass, her emotions are very frail and so is she. you see, this girl is extremely sensible and can cry from almost everything. she has a low pain tolerance and even the slightest of scratches can make her cry. she is actually awfully emotional and doesn't really likes being around people, she tends to close within herself. she doesn't wants to be hurt by others, so the best is to keep away, she thinks.


    despite being emotional and sensible and overly weak, Maartje is not kind. she is not kind at all and seems to have a really hard time attaching to others. her personality, as I said, is very strange. despite her eyes tearing up to sounds that are louder than a faint whisper, Maartje is very demanding and can throw temperament tantrums if she's refused. she would cry, scream and make quite the scandal until she gets what she wants; then she'd say that it was all an act and go back to her usual silent self. other than that, she's very manipulative and she knows it. most people are drawn to her and she can't quite understand why; she likes to believes it's her look but actually, it's her personality that practically screams to be protected. and she needs to be protected, but doesn't want to. she wants to be strong when she's weak and will almost always end up hurt. but there are some people which company amuses and entertains Maartje because they are so idiotic and do whatever she tells them; she loves bossing those people around, and she also likes the superior feeling when she's around them.


    this is a more subtle trait, but Maartje is intelligent to a point where it's ridiculous. her mind is as fast as a whip. she can't think of the craziest solutions in under thirty seconds; it's one of the two traits she got when being mixed with a stag because really, stags are pretty damn smart for an wild animal . not only that, but she is fast and her long legs help her even more; again, something taken from the stag mix.[/size][/justify][/fancypost]
