Mudpaw went to the den feeling sorry for him self. He did not mean to be so mean. Mudpaw felt as bad as anyone about Lillyflowers death ,but I did not show it to the cats that needed it most he thought to himself. How will I tell Tabbypaw I am sorry . I creped out of the den and looked around the clearing I saw her talking to Steelpaw I moved silently up to the two cats. "Can I talk to you." Two piercing eyes stared at me with blazing fire"I wanted to say I am sorry Lillyflower died a an honorable death and would have made a good edition to the clan I am sorry about before I was upset and hart. what I said was wrong thing to say, and I hope you can forgive me." He looked down at his paws as soon as he stopped talking.

Later that day Mudsplash was waiting for Riverwhisker and Mistypaw. The others had all ready arrived. They were about to start with out them when a flicker of movement at the edge of the hollow caught his attention it was Riverwhisker and Mistypaw. "Hello are you ready to start you two",Mudsplash questioned.

Mudsplash said good buy to large kit and turned back to Melodypaw at the apprentices den. she looked sad and depressed as usual. Melodypaw could not talk she could hear and see but when she opens her mouth nothing comes out she knows she is different but is a thriving apprentice and is very smart. "come on we are going hunting"' Mudsplash meowed.
