Vitani saw a small bird land on a rock. The she-cub sprang at it and crashed into it, sinking her fangs deep into its neck.

Vitani jumped back in surprise, but almost instantly regained herself and flattened her ears. "What do you want, Pridelander?" she spat the word 'Pridelander'.
