Skita blinked awake. She couldn't tell what time it was, or how long she'd slept, but it didn't feel like much. Either way, the rest was good, and she finally felt ready to explore and meet the rest of the clan. Her back arched, just slightly, as she stretched, and she noticed freshkill some cat had left in the nursery. Thankful, she grabbed herself a brown mouse and bit into it, savouring the taste.
