Astralflight wanted to claw the living kittypet out of him. "What harm would it do, to show my sister I was alive? What could I gain by putting- Oh, you mean... I-" Astralflight realized why he wouldn't want it. It would have looked like she had betrayed her whole clan on the word of just a loner, and then eloped with said loner. "I-... see," she muttered, trying to figure things out.
"You don't. You're a blind she-cat with no kits and no home and you'll die without my protection," he slapped at her face with a paw, claws unsheathed. She cried out, whimpering, submissive. His old personality was raging at her. "You will do nothing unless I order it. Do you understand, you worthless she-kittypet?" His eyes were like ice, chilling her to the marrow of her bones. She wanted to cry, but held very, very still. Her cheek stung from where he had hit it.
"Listen to me. If you walk outside this border one more time at any point -- I don't care if it's to die, nurse, or whatever -- you will never be accepted into our group again. Is that clear, my... sweet?" Dorminar grinned at her, a horrible, cunning, ruthless, bleak grin. He didn't care for her. How could he have? He had laws to obey, and laws he would obey. She looked sadly at him, trying to guess what was going on inside his head.
"Of course. What use to you am I if I can't follow a simple order?" It was the answer he wanted and expected. He turned to leave, her following in his wake. Bitterness welled up at her position, but it was either this or go back to a sister who knew she had committed horrible crimes for thinking no one loved her.
They walked toward a brambly forest, trying to keep pace with the setting sun. Dorminar had yet another dangerous plan in mind for her. "Get all of the she-cats and kits out of the Thunderclan camp with my army. We need new blood, and we shall have it." He then began to yowl, and his army could have rivaled Bloodclan's. The disturbance was in the air, but she knew no Clan cat would hear it. It was a moonlit yowl, which he so often seemed to give. Dozens of cats sprang out of the trees, the bushes, everywhere. She gasped. She had seen a lot of these cats on patrols. Yet more cats were joining the already tidal waves of cats. She stared, her mouth agape.
{The start}
"So, you like dancing in the dark, huh? Well. I can tell you everything you want to hear, but why not cut to the chase?" It had been months since Astralflight had joined a group of loners intent on conquesting the kittypet land that borders Thunderclan territory. She couldn't say she regretted it a ton, but honestly, she did regret it. She had killed off dozens of kittypets, and still more dared to come out, many terrified for their lives. As well they should be. And now the leader, a mysterious 'Dorminar', wanted to kill off most of the clans with his 'tree falling down plot'. Needless to say, it hadn't worked in the slightest. She was an idiot, and now she couldn't go home. What a pity.
