Lelia's owl flew away, so she turned around. She giggled softly at the odd sight of two girls yelling and anoother chasing a cat.

"Cat got your tongue," she smirked, walking past her.

Lilly, a ginger and brown tabby with wide amber eyes, was sitting tensely on a branch rather high in a tree. Nothing can hurt me up here. A bluejay landed behind her, and it stepped on a cracking piece of bark. She yelped, and tumbled rather unceremoniously to the ground.
"No one could ever love me, I'm to clumsy and scarred." She muttered as she sat near the trunk of the tree. She sighed as blue feather floated down and landed on her nose.

"Good. It looked more like your legs to me, so I would be surprised." she swept past, not offering to help with her books.

Lelia dropped her books in her dormitory, then walked into the common room.

Lelia poured over her potions homework, a quill and parchment ready.

She scratched her quill across the parchment, taking notes.

Lilly looked up and saw another cat. "Oh, hello."

"I guess. I'm just a little sad."

She opened her mouth. Then closed it, wondering where to start.
"You have heard of Shadowclan and Bloodclan, right?"

"Yes. I was born in ShadowClan, near the end of a leader called Brokenstar and the beginning of the rule of one named Tigerstar. They were tyrannical and cruel, so my mother smuggled me out. Or at least she tried." She shuddered, but continued. "We were caught. My mother was killed, and I got most of these scars." Her eyes had obtained a haunted look by now.

She nodded slightly, her eyes tearing up as well. For a moment, she looked as though she would continue, but stayed silent.
