The first long golden streaks of morning sunlight protruded from the crevasses of the cracked wooden ceiling of an old shack. That's where the tale our Red Riding Hood begins.

Maddison's thin pinkish lips parted and emitted a small pleasant yawn as she awoke to the sun's warm yellow rays. The District 4 girl rolled out of bed and stretched leisurely. Despite the tenseness the rest of her District was feeling for the reaping later today, Maddison was particularly at ease. After all, it was her first reaping, and her name was only entered once.

ooc: YAYZER! :) By the way, dude. What happens if Xavier doesn't win? Chloe won't ever get Mr. Worrible back.

Maddison Gabrielle. The eerie words echoed through the town square. Wasn't she just at home, feeling at ease by the sorts of the situation? It was so unlikely, and she was so confident. Yet it was all drained in a few quick syllables.
The District 4 girl was strangely ushered onto the train, her goodbyes still hung on her lips, and only her red cloak to comfort her.

A husky male voice echoed across the loudspeaker. "We will be reaching destination in five minutes, folks,"
