Terrex stalked out of the nearby bushes, eying the two cats. "Hello." he said stiffly. He was weary of eagles because when he was younger, he'd witnessed his brother being taken by one.

He walked around her slowly. As he passed the eagle, his tail licked the eagle's beak. It was a peace treaty.

"You don't treat a soldier like that, never mind a lady." said Terrex to Dark.

Terrex glared blankly at the tom. He thought this un-neccessary rage was horrible.

Locklyn whistled and Blou walked up and stood directly below her. She let go of the branch and fell neatly into the saddle. She hopped off and began the stack branches on the saddle.

Blou stepped up to Blaze and Koda. "I do hope so. A horse could catch cold if one more of these storms hit us while we have no shelter." she said.

"I'd much rather be out training for the great battle--" she said. She clamped her mouth shut as soon as she said "battle". She looked around nervously.

Blou leaned in. "Every once in a while, there's a battle between the breeds of the horse species in my area. I'm in training for barrel racing for Locklyn, but instead of training for that, the trainer Locklyn hired turns me loose to my army. We meet, practice, and then go back. In a few days is the great battle. I have to lead my army, and if I'm not there, I'll be shamed." she said. She bowed her head, revealing several scars beneath her mane. "These scars are from my first battle. I almost died in that battle, after a well-bred hulk all but tore my throat out." she said sadly.

The strong mare Filamina looked up at Sky, and even though it didn't have wings, her heart soared.

ic: Locklyn sat, perched in a tree, watching Zack. She knew he couldn't see her, because she was the the top of the tree. She shifted her weight, and instantly regretted it. The bark was slippery from the rain, and began the clear drop of over 100 feet. No branches to break her fall, nothing. She had been on an outer limb, suspended over the ground. She shrieked as the ground rapidly came towards her.

Locklyn opened her eyes and found herself in Zack's arms. "I think so." she said. She got up and helped him up. She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "Thank you so much for saving me." she said sincerely. Her hand lingered on his for a second too long, and she turned away blushing.

"I am." she said. She gave him a hug, then walked off to go find some berries or something.

ooc: Not much. I fell from a tree, Zack caught me, he built a shelter.

"It's no problem at all." said Filamina, smiling as best as a horse could.
