Ic: "Yeah, that sounds good to me." She said quietly, setting down her glass of water and looking at him from across the counter. She had seemed a bit down lately, but she didn't exactly explain why. Maybe it was just stress from the pregnancy, but it was almost as if it were something else. She sighed and put her glass in the sink, and sat down on the couch next to him. "Hey, would you mind if I went for a wall or something? Until we leave?"
-

[color=#befff1]Ooc:
Ic: Naomi smiled back for a moment, but suddenly her face turned a bit solemn. "Um… I don't know. I mean, don't you have work to do? You should probably finish that first..." She carefully stood up from the couch, loosely putting on a sweatshirt because of the fall weather. "Maybe I can just go alone? We can still go out later today like we said earlier." Naomi was trying her best to hint that she wanted to be alone right now. She had some thoughts on her mind that she just wanted to walk off, and she wasn't sure John was going to help. "I'm really sorry; you are fine with that, right?"
-

[color=#befff1]Ooc:
Ic: Naomi just nodded lightly before opening the front door. "See you soon?" She said, taking a step out the door. "…Love you." She added. She walked out and closed he door behind her, taking the elevator down to the bottom floor. She then set off towards the dirt trail that led to the nearest coffee shop. Hopefully she'd find some peace there. You see, the reason Naomi had felt so down was because she just started thinking a bit too much lately. What her life would be like with two boys, how quickly she came close to John; was all of this a good idea? But mostly she couldn't stop thinking about Mathyew. They were going to get married, and even have a family. But instead, she was left to be abused and thrown into the streets. She quickly shook her head; now was not the time to think of this. She kept on walking with her hands in her pockets, looking down at her bump.
-

[color=#befff1]Ooc:
Ic: Naomi sat in the coffee shop sipping on her drink. She watched the people that walked by out the window, feeling slightly sad whenever couples walked by. She knew she had to get past Mathyew; he was a crazy man. He couldn't be trusted. She just tried shaking the thoughts that swarmed her head out as she finished her coffee. John is probably waiting for me… She couldn't help but smile at that thought. John was definitely a man to be trusted. He helped her so much in such a short amount of time. Naomi stood up from her table, picked up her phone and wallet and began walking on the same trail back to the apartment.
-

[color=#befff1]Ooc:
Ic: Naomi was walking along the dirt trail, knowing she wasn't too far home from the apartment now. She was actually looking forward to seeing John when she got back. As Naomi was walking, it wasn't too long before she started hearing footsteps behind her. At first she didn't think much of it; people travelled the trail all the time. But it wasn't until they started getting quicker did she begin to feel worried. As the footsteps drew closer, she quickly turned around to see who was behind her; and all she could do was freeze upon seeing the man. "Oh… Mathyew…?" She stuttered, her eyes wide in shock. "What are you doing here?"
-

[color=#befff1]Ooc: Sorry about the length of this post… I was in a writing mood
Ic: Naomi stared at the man blankly for a moment. There was no doubting it; it was her ex fiancé. Naomi's eyes went wide as she looked around, becoming a bit fearful since no one was in sight. He nodded, a slight smile appearing on his face.
"You look so nice since I last saw you." He said, looking her in the eyes. But Naomi only took a step back.
"Only because someone was actually nice enough to let me stay with them; since you, you know, beat me and forced me onto the streets." He stood there with a blank face.
"Oh gosh… Naomi I'm so sorry. You have no idea how terrible I feel. I-I mean I got medication; I made sure I was better and- oh gosh, I just really want a second chance with you."
"Uh… I…" Naomi felt clueless. He did seem a lot better since they last saw each other, but after she was sent onto the streets, she didn't think it would seem possible to trust him again. He beat her, he made her life a living hell.
"Oh, the baby." Mathyew's eyes had now focused on Naomi's now large bump, completely ignoring what had just been previously said. "H-How's the baby doing?"
"Twins, actually." She said coldly to him, "Two boys."
"Oh my gosh…" He whispered, putting a hand over the bump. She flinched, taking a step back. It was the first time she had actually seen him appreciate his children; seeing it the way she wished it could have happened.
"Look, Mathyew, I-I'm sorry, but I don't think I can trust you anymore." She blurted out, her eyes welling up.
"But Naomi-"
"Mathyew. You beat me… You… You threw me out of the house; and I was pregnant with your two sons!"
"Naomi please, just give me one more chance."
"No, I'm sorry-" She was cut off when Mathyew suddenly took hold of her wrist, firmly but gentle enough not to hurt her. It was almost as if the night she was thrown out flashed before her eyes. He was there, holding her against his will. And by the anger in his eyes… Things wouldn't be going her way.
Naomi quickly came out of her thoughts when she heard her phone ring. She saw it was John, but as soon as she hit answer Mathyew smacked the phone from her hand. "Who's John?" He asked coldly, his face turning hurt. "Did you really just move on?" He began holding her more tightly against her will, and knowing John was still on the line, she began screaming.
-

[color=#befff1]Ooc:
Ic: Naomi knew John was going to come quickly; he had to be, right? "So is that it then? You just moved on?" Mathyew said angrily, "Was I just not good enough for you?" Fury blazed in his green eyes, taking her back. It wasn't even like last time; the normal Mathyew was completely gone.
"Matt I'm sorry! It's just what's best, I never wanted to leave you! It's what I had to do!"
"No it isn't!" Mathyew shoved Naomi up against a tree, causing pain to shoot up her spine. She cried out a bit, tears running down her cheeks. "Just give me one more chance. I-I won't take no for an answer! I am raising those sons!" Naomi's instinct kicked in, and immediately she kicked him in the stomach. He flinched back, but before she could get away he grabbed her again. He's gone completely insane! Upon looking up, she immediately noticed a figure running towards her. "John.... John!!"
-

[color=#befff1]Ooc:
Ic: "John!" Naomi screamed as she watched the two tumble on the dirt. What was going to happen?
"John?!" Mathew said angrily, his eyes darting towards the other man. "So you're the one who stole my fiancé huh? You think I'd just forget about her?"
"Mathyew don't!" She yelled, running up to him, "You have to stop-" The light-haired man shoved Naomi out of the way, and instantly she fell into the rocks that scattered the ground.
"Stay out of this!" He shouted back, "And as for you." His eyes glared into John's. Naomi, slightly injured, only managed to turn her head at the moment towards the two. Her heart was pounding in fear of what might happen. "She's coming with me; I'm raising those kids and marrying my fiancé!" It was obvious he was on medication alright, Naomi could tell. But he obviously overdosed, too.
"Call the police!" Naomi cried out, another shot of pain going up her spine. She then watched in horror as Mathyew charged towards John.
-

[color=#befff1]Ooc:
Ic: Angrily, Mathyew tried his best to stand back up, but the injury in his mouth just caused him to cough up more blood. "Naomi... How could you..." Naomi only shook her head at him, overwhelmed at everything that just happened. Two people she loved dearly, and now there was only one. It's not like she could love Matt anyways though, after all he did. She stared at her injured ex before shakily looking up at John. Tears suddenly poured down her cheeks as she buried herself into John, crying. She wished none of this ever happened, and didn't even pay attention to her own wounds. What was worse, she didn't see blood coming from a wound on her stomach.
-

[color=#befff1]Ooc:
Ic: Naomi quickly flinched when he picked her up. "No... Wait... Matt..." She said in-between sobs, "We n-need to call someone..." Even though she felt nothing towards Matt anymore, and wanted to get the police involved, she couldn't just let him die. It was then as she felt another sharp pain in her back, she asked John to put her down. "Ah, my back, I think I hurt it when I fell." She looked down as she spoke, when she froze at the sight of red staining her shirt. Was it.... blood? She placed her hand on her bump, flinching at the pain. There was no doubt she fell on her stomach, let alone injured herself; and maybe even the twins. "John... John!" She said after a moment in shock, looking at him with wide eyes. She didn't know what to say, other than hold up her hand that dotted with blood.
-

[color=#befff1]Ooc:
Ic: Naomi was more in shock than anything. She didn't know what to say or do, other than look at the blood on her hand from her wound. What was going to be the fate of her twins? She tried to shake off the thoughts but only her eyes remained wide as she gave off shallow breaths. She watched as John carefully put her in the car, but said nothing.
-

[color=#befff1]Ooc:
Ic: Naomi, still in shock but in pain, watched in horror as she could only see the chaos around her. Nurses that stood in the lobby quickly reacted, and seeing the blood staining her shirt, pulled out a stretcher and lay her on it. "Is he the father?" A woman asked as she lay Naomi down. "Yes." She replied quickly, not even paying attention to what she had even said. Was she really that comfortable around him now? She glanced up at him one more time until the nurse took her away and the other told John to wait.
It was traumatic to Naomi, needless to say. All she told the nurses was that she was attacked and fell into a rock. It was confirmed that the rock did cut her, according to the doctor, but the news broke Naomi's heart. Apparently one of the twins was placed right where the impact was, and even though they're protected, it was still enough to cause damage. It wasn't confirmed as to what type of damage it was, but Naomi didn't want to know at the moment anyways. As she could do was have them patch her up, and after a couple hours she was sent into the recovery room where she would get more information on the twins.
-

[color=#befff1]Ooc:
Ic: Naomi tensed up when John entered the room. She could tell he was eager to hear the news, but she wasn't quite sure how to put what had happened. According to the doctor, things weren't going to go too well; and now she had to tell John. But she watched as he got up and left as quickly as he came, and she couldn't help but frown. Time seemed to be going by so slowly. She sat up and winced in pain from her injury, but tried to remain as calm as she could.
It was then 911 had answered the phone. "What's your emergency?" A woman asked, but apparently someone had already spotted the bloody man that lay on the dirt path. "When did you see him?" The woman asked on the other line, after hearing what John had to say.
-

[color=#befff1]Ooc:
Ic: "Sorry...?" Naomi said hoarsely, her throat a bit sore. "For... For what? John, it's not your fault that happened. I was going to stay home, remember? If it wasn't for me getting randomly upset, this would have never happened. As for Matt, he can deal with his own problems. I... I'm being honest, John. Don't blame yourself for this. I won't allow it."
Just then a doctor had come in, his face not showing any signs of good news. "It's the baby, isn't it." Naomi said it without a single pause. It was almost as if she knew it were to happen. And with that, the doctor nodded. "One of your sons... He may have been damaged by the impact. We don't know what specifically, but... He... He could have some damage to his head. Not only has the baby been injured though, you have some damage internally. We may need you to come in a bit more frequently to monitor you, if that's alright." Naomi nodded, keeping the best strait face she could for not only her sake, but Johns. "Okay. Thank you." She said quietly, saying nothing else.
-

[color=#befff1]Ooc:
Ic: Naomi still said nothing after the doctor said a few more words before leaving. Tears streamed down her cheeks, but in silence. And then, without any hesitation, she just wrapped her arms around John. "Thank you." She whispered shakily, trying her best to remain calm. "Thank you for taking care of me and the twins." She was trying her best not to think the worst of her twins and what their fate was; not now. All she could do was hold John tightly, trying to ignore the pain. "Please don't cry."
-

[color=#befff1]Ooc:
Ic: Naomi finally let go of John to sit up a bit more properly, her wound sore. "I'm everything to you, huh?" Naomi said quietly, "What ever made you think some random girl you found on a bench was worth your time...?" She smiled a bit before closing her eyes. She was still awake and listening to him, but at the same time she would hope to get some rest before they left. The doctors said they could leave that night, at least until Naomi's current medication wore off. But at the same time, she didn't want to rest. What was the state of her baby going to be? She was thankful that one twin was okay, but the other? All she could do was fear the worst.
-

[color=#befff1]Ooc: So sorry about my absence, I honestly have no excuses
Ic: "You have no idea how thankful I am for a person like you." She said, smiling softly as she lay back down on the bed, "I don't even want to imagine where I'd be now..."
It was that afternoon she was checked out of the hospital, and they were able to head back home. The doctors told her it was best to come back in the next few days to check on the twins, but she tried to push the bad thoughts out of her head. "It'll be nice to head back home; today was pretty adventurous, wasn't it?" She chuckled lightly, trying her best to lighten the mood.
-

[color=#befff1]Ooc:
Ic: Naomi chuckled lightly at his comment. "Ah yes, because you're my hero now, aren't you?" She smiled, "Always there to save me...." It was a quiet drive home, and she didn't mind at all; that is, until he asked the question. "Oh... Yeah. I'll be alright." Was all she said, sitting up in the car and looking down at her hands. "I just, you know, I just wonder what'll happen with Matt." She worried it would be a touchy subject to bring up, but then again it was her ex she was talking about. The father of the twins that she was carrying. She turned to him, her face darkening a bit. "You.... You don't think you'll get arrested, do you?"
-

[color=#befff1]Ooc: Should we end up having the police come? I think it could be a possibility.
Ic: She just nodded slightly. "Yeah... Whatever you say." Naomi unbuckled her seatbelt, exiting the vehicle slowly because of the pain in her stitches. Honestly right now, her head was smarming with thoughts like bees. She followed him into the lobby, looking down at the floor before facing him. "John...." She began, her face serious, "If.... Anything happens. Between you. Or the twins...." She took a deep breath. "Just know that I'm here, just as much as you are. You're always trying to protect me, but John, at a time like this, it's not just me that needs help. You can't do all of this on your own."
-

[color=#befff1]Ooc: Hey.... It's been a while.... I'm sorry, I've just been busy with a lot of personal stuff. I was thinking if you might want to continue this? I understand if you don't I just thought it would be nice to kind of 'finish the plot' if that makes any sense?
Ic:
