✂--Brielle Rowan Delaney
--Age Seventeen
Brielle is a girl that is easy to get along with. She avoids conflict and tight spaces, she distastes both. The girl can be silly and loyal all rolled into one. Serious when she needs to be, but is more focused making a good impact on someone's life. She loves to make someone smile, even for a second. She was bullied a lot in elementary and middle but she overcame that showed the people who had spread the rumors that it was useless and she was better than they said she was. She doesn't do bad at her grades but it happens that grades aren't her main focus. When it comes to dating, Brielle doesn't. She doesn't say yes to every guy who asks her out, although there is few that every does so.

Jaxon would be considered one of the semi-populars. He plays on the football team and is one of those jocks. He grades could be better but he doesn't mind. As long as he passes, he's good with it even if his parents aren't. He's flirty but doesn't try to play girls, they just think he is playing them. He wouldn't do that to anyone but they think what they think all the same.
Let's start, shall we?

I push through the thick metal doors painted green and head for my locker. I put in the code and get my pencil case, textbook and notebook. I'm walking over to our 'clique' and Lea is doing the same. "Hey guys," I say warmly as I come into their circle. They all mummer a hey, hi or hello. "I like your shoes, Raquel." I look down at her black studded doc martens. "Thanks," I lift my head as a blush creeps up her neck.

--Jaxon
I skateboard down the halls to my locker. I catch sight of a teacher walking down the halls so I flip my skateboard up and grab it. I take the things I need out of my locker and push my skateboard into my locker so I can grab it after school.

Thornkit sighed hopelessly, almost hoping she would disagree with him. He shook his head and then got himself together. "Okay, let's go...bug some apprentices." He glanced in his mother's direction. "I mean, get aquatinted with some apprentices. Let's go!" He ran out of the nursery, hoping Turtlekit would follow.

I take a seat in homeroom next to Lea. As I take my seat, Daniel - or I think that is what his name was - is in my peripheral vision. He was cute but I didn't know him too well. Rumor has it that he toys around with girls but I don't trust rumors ever since some girls spread some vicious rumors about me. I lean down to get my phone to check my texts. I sit back up and brush the hair out of my face. Only a few texts that I sent quick and short answers to. I put my iPhone back into my backpack and survey the room.

--Jaxon
I take a random seat at the back and rest my feet on the chair in front of me, which is empty. Some rows head, Brielle and Lea sit. I don't mind Brielle but she is more of a younger sister figure more than anything. I don't think Lea knows this but I sort of had I thing for her for sometime now, since eighth grade, I think. Nothing to serious, she just caught my interest. I think I've done a pretty good job of concealing it though.

--Brielle
"Oh, shush!" I say and playfully push Lea as homeroom started. I could feel my cheeks warming up. No guy thought of me that way, I was sure of it. I was just Brielle, nothing more - and I hope - nothing less. I wanted to see if Daniel was watching this but it was to great a risk with my cheeks turning pink. Oh, it would be even more awkward if he caught me staring and blushing at the same time. So I refused and listened to whoever was saying what.

--Jaxon
The guys were talking about the future events planned by the school, but I don't think anyone but the girls really care. Lea and Brielle were joking - or maybe not - about something. I only knew this because I had nothing better to do then watch Lea or go on my phone. And talk to the guys. So I listened and talked to my bros, sneaking a look at Lea and then at my phone when the conversation died. Getting caught staring at someone you liked was embarrassing, so I tried to stay away from that.

I actually thought about stagging the dance, like I do whenever there is a dance. Going with Daniel meant that I would have to...I actually have no idea what that meant. I bite my lip and focus on the teacher who is talking about the tutoring system. Oh, so I guess I would have to tutor someone since I have a B. I wonder who I'll have to tutor. It won't be Lea because she has pretty good grades.

--Jaxon
Oh no. Someone is going to have to tutor me. This will be embarrassing. Maybe it'll be Lea, I heard her grades are good. But that might be awkward. Or maybe it will be a total and outside of tutoring we'll never talk or see each other. We won't even be friends, I'll just be their student and they'll be my tutor.

[ so...is lea tutoring both jaxon and daniel or... ]
-
That's fine. I'm like the queen of errors when it comes to these things.
-
[ yup. ]

--Brielle
I gather my things and head out of the classroom, but not without checking the list. I'm paired with Daniel, I have to check if it's a different one. Nope, it's the same one. The exact someone that Lea was teasing me about. I see him out of the corner of my eye, he's talking to some people. I go to my locker, do the code and get my things for the next period.

--Jaxon
I glance at the list, I'm paired with Leah. I rub the back of my neck and walk over to my locker. My locker is two down from Lea's, what a coincidence. "Hey tutor," I say casually when I see her getting ready for the next period. I decide to do the same and switch my textbook for another one and a different notebook for another.

--Brielle
I slam my locker shut and walk down the halls. I push through the doors to exit and walk over to the park. I sit on the free bench and start doing my homework there. I didn't run into Daniel at all today to talk about tutoring or at least give him my number, for tutoring, of course.
I skateboard out of school, down the steps and down the street, Lea's number in my pocket. I still don't believe it. After all these years, I finally got her number. But for tutoring, no other reason, obviously. I sigh because I know that has to be it. But at least I got her number. It makes me nervous, having her digits in my phone.
-

--Brielle
I look up at see Daniel, walking not too far away. "Hi," I say and gave a wry smile. I finish writing a few things on my notebook. "Did you come for tutoring?" I ask and brush my hair out of my face.

--Jaxon
I decide to be brave and sent Lea a text. It's just a text, after all, it's not going to ruin my life. Hey, I type, when are you open for tutoring, teach? -Jaxon
I hit sent before I lose my confidence.

--Brielle
"So what's your worse subject?" I ask and then add, "not to embarrass you, or anything." I come out shy, because right now I'm pretty sure I am. "How about Math?" I ask and start taking out my Math things.

--Jaxon
Great, I text back, I'll be right there. I don't need directions to her place, I've been there a few times for parties and things, but not very often. I skateboard to her house and knock on her door. I'm nervous but try to keep cool. It's only tutoring, not a date.
-
[align=center][font=apple symbols][color=black]
--Brielle
I mentally take note how considerate it was of him to silence his phone. "Whatever you would like to start with, I guess." I look at the integers printed on the paper on my lap. Daniel probably hates Math as much as me, or maybe not.

--Jaxon
I shrug casually, trying to keep cool. "Whatever works," I tell her. Let's go up to your room so we can have a make-out session, I think almost jokingly, almost. That way we can not get interrupted and avoid homework. Or maybe not...She probably doesn't like me and would hate that.

My body moves with the music, the beats leading me as my guide. I don't enjoy sweaty bodies crashing into mine, the fact that I'm claustrophobic really doesn't help. I see that someone had crashed into another, both of them spilling their punch. It was quite a mess, and few offered to help. I tap a girl's shoulder since she was so near to me. She spun around to face me, straight black hair falling in her face. "Hey, see that gorgeous guy over there?" I ask and lift my chin in his direction. She nods, obviously admiring his tanned skin, defined muscles, blue eyes and short blonde hair. "I think he needs help cleaning up that drink. I would but I thought that you might want to get a chance to know him." She gives me a smile of appreciation, three of her friends listening in on the one sided conversation. They follow her off the dance floor and then head in the his direction. Now I have room to dance and more room for the others, if they decide to join me.
