"A forest fire?" Cherrystar guessed. "And it must be from Starclan. The pattern of the flame is to complex to be naturally formed." Cherrystar studied the rock, still confused.
Cloud looked over her shoulder. "The sun is made of fire," he said.

Cloud looked confused. "But wouldn't all the rain and snow up here put it out?"
Cherrystar looked at him, "If it was a strong fire, that nothing would be able to smolder it." She turned back to Memoryheart. "What do you suggest we do? We can't let it destroy the forest around her." Her ice blue eyes were wide with concern.

"Thank you for telling us this," Cherrystar said. "Hopefully we'll be more prepared. We are lucky to have you as our medicine cat."
Cloud looked up, "Yeah." Suddenly he whirled around and caught a moth in his paws. "Uh," he said when he noticed Cherrystar staring at him. He dropped back onto his paws, letting the little white moth fly away. "Sorry," Cloud said.

Cherrystar scented the air. "That scent, it's familiar," she said. Cloud nodded, "I know it also."

"Rouge, near to border," Cherrystar said. "We can check in out while we hunt. You guys ready to go?"
Cloud nodded eagerly, "Yeah!" He smiled.

IC; Wish lay down, and slept in the grass.
Wind gulped down a mouthful of grass.

"Then lets go," Cherrystar purred, padding toward the forest. Cloud bounced eagerly at her flank, excited to learn how to hunt land prey.

IC; Wind could not see the butterfly, but she could hear the butterfly's wings flapping. She trotted after Vannila, eager to keep up with her new companion.

Cloud bounced around, full of energy.

Wind looked around, confused. She heard Vanilla's hooves and Amber's panicked neighs. She tossed her head, before scuttling in the direction Vanilla was going.
Wish instantly snapped awake. She cantered around, making sure the herd stayed together, and trying to calm them, before rushing after Amber. The last thing she wanted to do was go to the volcano, were Wind's brother had died, but she had to keep the herd together.

OOC; Probably my fault for giving them similar names. Wish is the mom and the lead mare. Wind is her blind foal. :)
IC; Wind raced behind Vanilla and AMber, confused over the chaos.
Wish ran and made sure everyone was together. "Thank you Amber," she said.

Wish trotted toward Amber. "Did you find the foal's mother," she asked, curiously. "I'm sorry I didn't come with you. Wind was panicking." She tossed her blue-black forelock, revealing young but wise dark eyes.
Wind raised her head when she heard Creeper and Blaze bolt. "What's happening?" she asked, scenting the air. She scented the human, but she didn't view it as a threat, and had not often had interaction with them.

OOC; There was a stampede or something, and the herd ran to the volcano. A foal died, and Amber calmed the mother down. A human was near by, and Creeper and Blaze ran.
IC; Wish nodded, and turned back to check on the herd.
Wind called again, "What's happening?" she could hear hoof beats, but didn't know which way to run.

Cherrystar stopped and listened to the birds in the trees. "Wait one second," she said. She leaped into a tree, clambering silently along a branch. She stopped, her eyes glued on a bird in the leaves of a neighboring tree. The bird stopped singing, suddenly realizing he was being stalked, but before he could take flight, Cherrystar leaped forward. She caught the bird in her front paws, killing it instantly. She smiled and dropped to the ground, her prey hooked to her claws.

IC; Halina rolled onto her back, her tongue sticking out.

OOC; Sure, Starshine is accepted. Sorry I wasn't on for a while :)
IC; Wish greeted Neron. "Yes, I think everyone is okay."
Wind listened to Vanilla approaching. "Hi," Wind said shyly. "Are you okay?" Wind listened to her friend's hoof steps, trying to tell if they were normal, or hinted at an injury.

Wish bolted forward, making sure the herd got to safety. She turned back to help Starshine, but the cows (the stampede is of cows right? ) were rushing toward her. "Starshine!" Wish called. For the first time in Wish's life, she felt confused. Even when the volcano had erupted, killing her first foal, she had staying in control and gotten Wind to safety, fighting her terror and sadness. Now, she had no idea what to do.
Wind whinnied for her mother while she ran. "Mommy!" she yelled, "Vanilla! Neron! Creeper! Blaze! Amber! Bree!" she called the names of the other herd members. "Were are you! What's going on!" she could here the stampede approaching, but didn't know which way to run. She felt the hopelessness and sense of doom that she had felt when her brother died. She turned and raced in a random direction. Her hoof hit a root of a tree, and she was tossed into the air, landing at an awkward angle on the ground.
