Shade staggered through the forest on shakey legs.She still couldn't process what'd happened.She always knew her uncle was the alpha of a very bloodthirsty pack but she'd never thought that he'd try to have her killed because she was a 'weakling'.She shuddered, thinking about what wouldv'e happened if her friend hadn't told her about it time.Her unseeing eyes looked toward the ground blankly.She'd never even thought her being blind was really a problem.She could fight like an average wolf and she'd learned how to tell where big objects were and could easily avoid running into them.She sighed.

Sadie lay on the side of a dark street,in a small pool of blood.The blood came from two gunshot wounds,one on her shoulder and the other in her side, and a gash across her leg.The young witch tried but couldn't remember any self-healing spells.She shuddered,half from blood loss and half from dread.A group of witch hunters knew where the members of her mentor's coven lived!She knew she had warn them but didn't see how see would live to the next few minutes,let alone go to them,or even send a message by magic.
