Lilykit snorted. "What are you doing?" she asked her sister, irritated.

Nice? Cherry tilted her head. "theyre holding us captive!
-
Mint answered. "Because we lived in the foresst and trained for battle and hunting. And they stle us of that!"
-
Lilykit scrambled after them. She darted past Flamepaw right beside Cascadekit.
-
A stone hit Kinden's muzzle as a child threw one in, making him look. Bright lights flashed in his eye. The keeper was talking and pointing. Kinden heard the names Kinden, as the bare hand was pointed to him, then Kiara, which was his cage mate. He leaped onto a plastic rock and curled into the fake cave. "How can you stand it out there," he asked Kiara.
Mind blank, Pera paced. She'd paced all day, and her mind couldn't think. Her feet knew the rhythm of walking back and forth. People pointed at her, concerned. The keeper became anxious too

Mint gestured to the bared cage that the humans now dug into the ground, but the bars could be felt under paw. It had a top.
-
Lilykit pricked her ears. "Do you think she'll tell. We've never really gotten along."
-
Cherry sighed. "We're in a cage."
-
Cherry easily slid througgh, but Mint struggled. His broad shoulders wouldn't fit. Cherry couldn't leave him.

Kylina took a deep breath. She'd die if she tried to get any stuff awaiting them.
-
Cherry batted Dove away with incredible strength. "Don't, that'll hurt! It's sharp." the human door snapped open and the female human grabbed for her. Cherry sprang aside easily and climbed a tree.
-
"Forget it," Cherry meowed, calming down. "Sorry," she said.
-
Lilykit stared at the mass of frozen water. "It's beautiful," she whispered, exchanging a glance with Cascadekit.
-
Kylina wasn't a fighter, that, she knew. She had learned to communicate with animals, and that was her best strength. She looked at the trees. Safest place.
-
Lilykit glanced at Cloverpaw. "You've seen it before."
-
Lilykit stepped on the ice. It held under her small weight. She ran, but found herself sliding across the slippery surface.
-
Lilykit slid over to near the edge if ice. She squeaked in alarm and skidded away, ramming into Cascadekit. She then rolled on her back and felt the cool vibrations of the others
-
Purplekit squealed as she spotted the fox. Pearkit pressed against Harekit

Kylina raced for something she had worked with. She stumbled away from a backpack when a tribute snatched at it. He fell to his knees, a knife in the back, thrown by another tribute. She grabbed the pack and darted into the forest. Her legs buckled once unde her because the backpack was strangely full. She stopped and listened. She couldn't here any sound, so she climbed a tree and spread the pack out. Amazingly, a guide to plants, animals, and rocks in that arena; it also held a bottle to fill waith water, matches, and apples. Kylina smiled. It was more than she planned. She sprang down and skimmed the forest quietly. Kylina then climbed another tree, deciding it was best to travel by tree.

Shrieks erupted in the distance. Honeypaw closed her eyes. She'd have to leave Wrenpaw again! Slowly, she gestured him as they raced to camp. She stood rigid as the fox snarled at the kits. She forced herself forward and batted the fox's muzzle away from the kits.
