"oh. I'm surprised she cats aren't crawling all over you..." fawnstep shuffled her paws nervously.

"Lies!" fawnstep poked him with her paw, smiling... "yeah you are...."

"well.......this is awkward...." fawnstep blushed and figeted.

Fawnstep shuffled her paws and her tail twitched.

"Oh, um, alright... I guess..."

"Umm, we could go behind the warrior's den." Fawnstep suggested.

"Umm, well, I did want to ask you something....."

She leaned in close.... "Ummm, would you like to be my mate?" She pulled back quickly and din't meat his eyes.

'I understand if you don't want to be my mate I'm not that [retty and all I was just wondering." Fawnstep blurted.

Fawnsteps eyes brimmed with tears and she pressed herself against him. She sighed. "Phew."

Fawnstsp stared at her kit in shock. The rest of the clan did the same.

Fawnstep purred and stretched.

"I love you," Fawnstep purred and licked Shadowstorm's cheek.

Fawnstep's belly rumbled and she licked her lips.

Fawnstep smiled and settled down next to him. "Mmmm, rabbit...."

Fawnstep was gulping down large amounts if rabbit when she saw him watching her. She laughed out of embarrassment and accidentally spit a little bit of rabbit out. She swallowed quickly and looked at him. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!"

Fawnstep giggled and leaned against him, entwining her tail with his. She leaned in and whispered in his ear. "that day in the forest, I never doubted you could catch that squirrell...."

Fawnstep giggled and rested her head on her paws. After a moment she suggested, "let's go watch the sunset by the lake!"

Fawnstep groomed her kits before their ceremony and she and her kits sat together. "Any cat old enough to catch their own prey gather for a meeting!" the call rang out loud and clear.

Shadow kit bounded happily into the clearing, Twokit and Fawnstep at his heels. Shadow kit stepped up to the leader and he proceeded throughout the ceremony. (I don't have the book to say the word on me right now. Sry.) he told Shdowkit and Twokit that since all the other cats had apprentices, their mother would have to train them. Fawnstep fluffed out her chest with pride as he made them apprentices. "Shadiwkit, from this day forward you will be known as Shadowpaw, and Twokit, from this day forward you will be known as Twopaw." he touched their heads and they kicked his shoulder. "Shadowpaw! Twopaw!" the clan cheered, Fawnstep the loudest of them all.

She stood up and rushed excitedly from the warriors den. She dashed through the thorn tunnels, heading towards the shore.
