why did dad have to die. and why is my mother so cruel. and why does morning spangle hate me. i could die and no one would care.she thought to herself she let out a long sorrow filled howl. then she went to hunt for her dinner.

"hey moonsong. she would probably say yes and can i tell you a secret." she said to him.

he looked at her and smiled. he nodded.

she looked around to make sure no one was around. "flame and i are going to have kits." she wispered.

he looked at her with wide eyes and a huge smile."thats great!" he exclaimed quietly. " but did you tell your dad that you even have a mate."

"no." she said.

"well im going back inside are you comeing ." she asked him.

"nah ill just stay out here for alittle bit longer." he said.

"alright." featherpaw said as she padded back inside the cave.

feastherpaw sat beside him and watched with a smile.

"i have some thing to ask you" he said to midnight.

"will you midnight be my mate?" he asked her.

featherpaw looked at flame and licked his cheek.

moonsong jumped with happiness." what did you want to ask."

"oh. well then yes." he said.

"awww." said featherpaw looking at flame.

"but i can't." she said looking at flame laughing.

"im gonna go look for a friend of mine before i go home." moonsong said to the others.

moonsong wandered toward wind clan. he knew that feaherpaws father was leader there. he gain permission from the guards to enter and began to talk to her father telling him about featherpaw. he was astonished that his own daughter had not told him herself. he and moonsong headed toward the camp.
~10 mins later~

"I wonder where moonsong is." she said.

"im back." said moonsong. "and i brought my friend. featherpaw knows him."

"i.... did you.....i hate you." she said.

"FEATHERPAW!!!!!!" said a voice from the bushes. a large silver cat steped out. " how dare you find a mate and plan on having kits before asking me!" he shouted.

" im sorry dad but i havent had the time. ive been busy. its not that i dont love you its cause im constantly busy." she said.

"and who is this." he said looking at flame sternly.

" and i am falconclaw of windclan." he said in a powerful voice." where is your clan." falconclaw eyed him closely.

"dad. stop." she told him.

"yes boy." he shouted." to which clan do you belong."

falconclaw turned to his daughter. " a LONER!!?!?!" he shouted. " featherpaw ive taught you better than this."

" he saved my life dad." she shouted at him." you should be proud off him and me."

he sighed. " ill allow this." he said." on one condition."

" you." have to become a member of windclan." he said. " if you refuse i take my daughter and leave now and you will be killed if you are anywhere near windclan."

"dad!!" she yelled. she looked at flame." im sorry sweetheart. no you wont be killed." she glared at her father

" look at me sweety." she said to flame." you will not be harmed."

featehrpaw had a comforing look while her father was stern.

" dad if he says no then i will leave windclan and never return." she told him as she went and stood next to flame." its my choice too."

" featehrpaw get over here,now!" he said.
"no" she replied.

" no. hes told me what to do far to long." she told him.

"well.............."

"i guess if it means i risk losing my only daughter then ill allow this." he said. " but if you hurt my daughter so help me, i will rip you limb from limb."

"yay. see we can still be together." she said licking his cheek.

"featherpaw, your just like your mother in every way." he told her.
