(24/30)
Amusingly enough, he still did not know what they had done to him. He did not know his emotions would be clearly visible through his eyes for the rest of his life. Perhaps when he returned home, someone would tell him they could change color... but he would still have to figure out what triggered them to change, just like the scientist had done. It was back to square one for him.
None of this bothered him at the moment. His thoughts were just on his mother's warm touch, and his clan's familiar scent.
BreakingClan here I come!

(25/30.... five more to go!!!! :D)
The scientist snarled furiously, his blue eyes darkening. It was completely unfair! Finally, he had made a discovery worth noticing, and it ran away from him. He shouldn't have fallen for the innocent front that tom had put up. Attempting to gather up the rest of his research, the male twoleg grabbed his pile of papers and stormed back inside the lab.
He muttered to himself angrily as he slammed the stack of notes and the wooden clipboard onto the steel table. He pinched the bridge of his nose as he stared at the remains of his most fantastic accomplishment yet. He needed to splash some cool water on his face, he decided, to calm himself down for a minute and take a breather.
-
(26/30)
All wasn't lost, surely.
He slammed the door to the storage room and walked to the restroom, opening the door, and shutting it hard, as if he were attempting to shut a truck door. The slam's echo bounced throughout the dim hallway.
The scientist flipped on the light switch and then turned on the faucet. After a minute of the sink gurgling, water began to sputter out, and then it became a steady stream. Taking his forepaws, he splashed the cold water on his face, then ran his hands through the fur growing on the top of his head. It made him feel a little better.
-
(27/30)
Looking up at the dingy, dirty mirror, he ran his paws down his face, attempting to dry it of the little driblets of water that remained. But something was different about him. Were his eyes... red? No, no that was impossible!
The twoleg jumped back, running into the wall behind him and slumping onto the floor. Scrambling to his feet, he looked at himself in the mirror once more. The red began fading again into his natural eye color.
-
(28/30)
How... how was that possible? Did his eyes now change color too? Did he somehow come into contact of the genetic DNA strands, in such a way that it could enter his bloodstream and mutate his genes?
The bite on his hand stung.
-
(29/30..... ONE MORE AFTER THIS!!!)
No. Was it possible? Could that cat infect others with the mutated DNA just by simply biting them? Or transferring the gene by blood? Was this gene he gave the cat... contagious?
The cat was out in the wild now, free. He gasped. That meant there would be many animals it might fight one day that would get infected with it. His discovery could be found by anyone! They could claim fame to it!
-
(30/30!!!!!!!!!)
He had to claim it first. He picked up his small communications device and contacted his advisors.
"Come quick, my friends, there is something phenomenal I wish for you all to see."
(OUT!!!! <3 Badge, here I come :3)

Suddenly, a loud barking filled the almost silence, Twilight ran into a room. The other humans kept running. "Huh! Elkbrains" The she wolf laughed, not even realising that she wasn't alone.

(Hi there, if you wish to do something with the scientist I created, feel free to roleplay him yourself. That character is now yours if you wish for I am done with mine :3)

Aurelia looked at the young cat with sympathetic eyes. She understood his pain, for she had lost her brother. Though he was a stranger to her, she licked the tom's head comfortingly. "No sweetheart," the snow white she-cat responded quietly, "And I will do all in my power to make sure she doesn't." She loved young cats, and felt heartbroken at the pain in his eyes.
"If you would like, you can stay by her side. Perhaps trying to speak with her might wake her up for a bit. If she hears your voice, she might hold on long enough for us to save her." But she understood his hurt.
It was hard to see someone you love this badly injured. Her heart ached for him. Her light green eyes glowing with determination she spoke. "Question: Do you know where I can find the herbs needed to heal her? I'm new here, and don't know where to find them. If you could help me, we can save her."

(You sound a lot more literate than a lot of roleplayers around here. People with bad spelling, grammar, and punctuation bother me. XD But I like you- you seem to be quite good at this. Really, I have just started my fox roleplay to try something new, and Kanelle could have you as a mate if you'd like. The roleplay will get good once more people join, I promise!! :))

Echopaw grimaced at the pain in her paw, and prayed to StarClan that Whisperpaw hadn't noticed she was limping. The other cats were far more important than she was, and the proud little calico apprentice didn't want any help.
The blood from the gash in her leg dripped blood. It was very prominent, so there was no use hiding that. But Echopaw figured she could just lick it clean. No big deal, no need for anyone to make a fuss over it.
She carried the crow over to Whisperpaw and dipped her head in respect. "Is there anything else I could do for the clan?" she questioned, now eager to help. After all, her adventures would have to be postponed until her paw was feeling better.

(That would work too
Either way. The link is in my signature if you would like to check it out. You really don't have to join if you don't wish to, but at least could you do me a favor and read over some of it? I don't have much experience roleplaying foxes, but I have done wolves many times. I figured this would be a new experience for me. :3)
((Oh, and I honestly don't care if you are using that XD At least you still sound good after using it. I can't stand when people type with suckish punctuation and grammar... spelling too. It irks me :P)
-
(That comment you just made makes me feel a lot better about this. Thank you :P I was totally worried I wasn't going to get the fox vocabulary (like calling a female fox a vixen)... I'm still not sure what other differences there are. I'd like to make my posts there sound as accurate as possible. If you would like to join my roleplay, you can sign up absolutely whenever :) I'm praying I can get others to join soon!!)

(I'm going to bump again real quick and pray somebody decides to click on the link to my roleplay!!! *crosses eyes since foxes don't have fingers*)
-
(Sorry XD I tend to make long intros.... don't believe me, check out my wolf roleplay :P I'm kinda ridiculous when it comes to typing things.)

Echopaw hadn't seen Shadowspirit coming over to her and she yowled with pain, collapsing as he had poked her paw. The pain was blazing throughout her foreleg, not just her paw now. She let out a hiss of annoyance, her gray-blue eyes glittering angrily as she narrowed them, staring up at the warrior.
"Mousebrain!" she snapped at the tom. If he had noticed her limp, why couldn't he have just kept quiet? Couldn't he have kept well enough alone? Her irritation had peaked very quickly, for she had a bad temper. If he touched her one more time...
She growled.

(That would be smart. I'll create a thread and edit this post with a link :3 THE LINK!!! DUN DUN DUNNNNN!)

I made a thread for us so we won't spam up your thread :P

(Accepted, and nice to have you aboard :) I'll try to recruit more people so it'll be more fun! I love your character by the way <3 You may start out already in the society or you may just randomly come in and pick a nice den to live in. Any fox that comes into the society is immediately accepted. I'll add you right now! :3)
Kanelle awoke to find that he hadn't returned to his den from the previous night. he was in the same place in the grassy field where he was when he was watching the stars with Kazuni the night before. He blinked open his dark eyes, looking over to where she had laid beside him. The grass was matted down, suggesting she had spent the night right there also. He chuckled. Watching the stars was so soothing, it had put the two of them to sleep!
He pricked his ears. What was that sound? Scanning the area with his eyes, he wondered if it was Kazuni. But the scent was not hers.

(YAY!! Another already?!? :) Luna's quite happy today!! *purrs* Accepted!!! I shall add you also!!!)
