My fanmade character~ Ghost
The young light grey and white wolf stalked the alleys of the city, her grey-blue eyes penetrating through the darkness as she spied on the silly humans. It bothered her how they seemed to think they ruled over everything. If she hadn't need to be in hiding, she would've shown them a thing or two. Her stomach grumbled, and she let out an exasperated sigh. Oh how she dreaded posing as one of those wretched humans. Normally her pride wouldn't allow her to use her human guise, but at this point she had no other choice. She needed to eat.
Ghost closed her eyes for a moment, taking in her last moment in the darkness, letting the cool shade sink into every aspect of her being. The darkness calmed her, and she would need to have a clear mind to pretend to be a human. With a deep breath, she stepped out into the light, her black sneakers clacking against the cold, dense cobblestone.

She hated humans. They had shot and killed her sister not too long ago, and she wanted nothing more than to watch each and every one of them suffer and die. Why did she have to be the one hiding in the shadows and running for her life on a daily basis? It wasn't fair. Wolves were supposed to reign over the earth, not these filthy creatures she now walked among. It was pathetic. One day she'll get her revenge, one day.
But today wasn't the day. The young girl ran her hand through her medium length light blonde hair. It glistened in the sunlight. Walking over to a pool of water, she stared at her own reflection, taking it in. Though to humans she would be seen as an adorable little girl, she felt hideous. This wasn't her. But perhaps, just maybe there were others who had to go through the same things she did.
Ha! The very thought amused her. Her mother had told her long ago that her and her sister were the last wolves alive. There was no reason for her to doubt it either- it's been ages and she hadn't come across any others like her. But now, her sister was gone also. Did this make her the last wolf alive? Was she truly all alone? There was tension in the air, she could feel it. Something was about to change.
And quite honestly, she didn't want to be alone when it did.

Toboe (Here ya' go my dear Nighty~!)
Huh? What was that?
The small red wolf's ears pricked in attention, and he opened his eyes after a nice nap inside an empty cardboard box he had found in the nearby park, beside one of the benches. He wasn't too worried about being found by humans. He was small enough of a cub to be mistaken for a dog... a pet. Secretly, he prayed he would be thought of as one, and possibly taken in. He missed his housefolk, and wanted nothing more than to find himself a new home.
His light brown eyes opened to the sunshine and he inhaled deeply. It was rare to find a grassy area in the city, so the park was always his favorite place to be. Surprisingly, not many humans came around there, so he was left alone most of the time.
However, he had noticed a young, dark haired human girl that came by sometimes with her large bird, and by the look in her eyes, he could tell she was friendly towards animals. The love she had for her hunting falcon was written all over her face. If only he could summon up enough courage to show himself to her. Perhaps she could be his new owner!
He could imagine it now, being well fed all of the time, with a warm fireplace to sleep by, and every morning, she would awaken to take him outside and they'd play all day without a care in the world. The wolf's eyes glowed brightly at the thought, and he continued to daydream about the life he wished he had. Snapping out of his vision, he became more alert.
Toboe, focus! Someone's coming!

Blue (*fangirl scream* :3)
The black and blue canine's cold icy eyes glittered with malice as she scented the air. The old man had given her the scent of the wolf he had just recently come across, and she was ready to track it. Her hatred of the wolves only spawned from the human she lived with. He had retold his story many, many times, about how the wolves had killed his family. But the shaggy blue-black wolfdog was unsure. The man didn't have any hard evidence.
But he was all she had, and she wasn't about to make him think she failed him also. She was his loyal partner and had to stick with the old man until the very end. Somewhere, deep down inside, she knew she loved him somewhat. All she really craved was his approval.
And to earn that she needed to kill a wolf.
She could track them easily, but catching the d*mn things were a lot harder than you'd expect. They were powerful and quick. She'd had a recent encounter with a large grey one and he had left her with a minor sprain in her forepaw. Stupid mutts. Once she got her paws on one of those things, she'd tear out it's throat the first chance she got. Yeah, yeah, dogs might descendants of wolves, but her kind weren't such beasts. Her kind knew what love meant.
She lifted her snout into the air, scenting the area for the rest of the trail. But it had almost completely faded. She snarled, baring her sharp fangs. Great, outfoxed again by a wolf. No wonder they hadn't entirely become extinct. They were hard suckers to kill. It was as if they had some sort of internal willpower that drove them to survive through anything.
The blue dog snorted to herself disgusted. Her paws thundered against the stony ground as she caught a trace of the wolf that had just passed through. The adrenaline coursed through her veins, her muscles rippling beneath her pelt. Her legs were strong and they'd carry her far. She felt as if she could run forever and never tire out. Behind her, the large, dark canine could hear her master's footsteps as they followed farther behind.
"Don't lose 'em, Blue!" The man shouted gruffly, his voice low and gravelly. She wasn't about to lose anyone. But, the scent of the alcohol that came off of her human overpowered the wolf scent, even though he was at least twenty feet from her. It was hard tracking when the sickening smell always distracted her from the trail.
Skidding to a halt, Blue's claws scraped the stone, and she growled, her eyes narrowed. The wolf was gone. The trail was gone, and she had failed, yet again.
D*mn!
((Tsume will come later :3))
