    (XD You may not have a muse, but you have a sense of humor clearly!! :P)

    Kazuni's nose twitched more this time, along with her paws, and she slowly blinked her eyes open, her dark brown eyes adjusting to the bright red glare of the fire. Ash rained down upon the grass, and smoke choked the young fox. She coughed and sputtered, and attempted to sit up. She flinched at the pain it caused, growling slightly. Her left side of her body was slightly bruised from where she had hit the ground.

    She cursed at herself silently as she remembered what had happened before she blacked out. She felt so mousebrained for having let the herbs burn, and for her fear of the storm and the fire. The thunder cracked loudly above the scene and she whimpered, her ears flattening against her head. The grey and white cross fox looked up into the eyes of Esmeralda and flashed her a grateful look.

    "Th-thank you..."

    In this Wolf's Rain roleplay, Nighty and I are roleplaying the anime, but in our own way. We might change some of the things that happens, but we are keeping the same characters, and the same main plot.

    Nightfeather will be roleplaying:
    ~Hige (As he is my favorite <3)
    ~Kiba
    ~Cheza
    ~Darcia
    (We will be sharing him since neither of us like him at all :3)

    And I, LunaBluemoon shall be roleplaying:
    ~Toboe (Since he is Nighty's favorite <3)
    ~Tsume
    ~Blue
    (She's my other favorite ^_^)
    ~Darcia (Goodness I hate him!)

    This should be quite interesting to see how we make things turn out, since after all, most of roleplaying really is improvising. So Nighty, if you would start us off, I'd be quite honored to roleplay with you, my dear sister!

    Kanelle nodded, his face solemn. He had never appeared so serious in his entire life. Fixing his gaze upon the flames, he watched their pattern, and leapt as they went down. But at that moment, a loud roar of thunder made him slip a bit, and he fell onto the log, and had to scramble over. His fur was singed and his skin burned. He was in pain, but didn't want to show it. It was his own fault he couldn't get over in time.

    (No, I'm sorry, but this is for only for me and my friend Nighty. We've been wanting to do something just the two of us for a while now.)

    ((Now it's time for Luna here to post ;) Haha, and no worries dear sister, I f*cking hate him as well. D:< HE SHALL DIE FIRSTTTTTTT!!!!! RAWR!))

    (((Crap XD My fanmade character I already placed in WhisperingPack. BLEH. Time to create a new one!! Her name shall be Ghost, or Yurei in Japanese.)))

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    My fanmade character~ Ghost
    The young light grey and white wolf stalked the alleys of the city, her grey-blue eyes penetrating through the darkness as she spied on the silly humans. It bothered her how they seemed to think they ruled over everything. If she hadn't need to be in hiding, she would've shown them a thing or two. Her stomach grumbled, and she let out an exasperated sigh. Oh how she dreaded posing as one of those wretched humans. Normally her pride wouldn't allow her to use her human guise, but at this point she had no other choice. She needed to eat.
    Ghost closed her eyes for a moment, taking in her last moment in the darkness, letting the cool shade sink into every aspect of her being. The darkness calmed her, and she would need to have a clear mind to pretend to be a human. With a deep breath, she stepped out into the light, her black sneakers clacking against the cold, dense cobblestone.
    Click! Click!
    She hated humans. They had shot and killed her sister not too long ago, and she wanted nothing more than to watch each and every one of them suffer and die. Why did she have to be the one hiding in the shadows and running for her life on a daily basis? It wasn't fair. Wolves were supposed to reign over the earth, not these filthy creatures she now walked among. It was pathetic. One day she'll get her revenge, one day.
    But today wasn't the day. The young girl ran her hand through her medium length light blonde hair. It glistened in the sunlight. Walking over to a pool of water, she stared at her own reflection, taking it in. Though to humans she would be seen as an adorable little girl, she felt hideous. This wasn't her. But perhaps, just maybe there were others who had to go through the same things she did.
    Ha! The very thought amused her. Her mother had told her long ago that her and her sister were the last wolves alive. There was no reason for her to doubt it either- it's been ages and she hadn't come across any others like her. But now, her sister was gone also. Did this make her the last wolf alive? Was she truly all alone? There was tension in the air, she could feel it. Something was about to change.
    And quite honestly, she didn't want to be alone when it did.
    Toboe (Here ya' go my dear Nighty~!)
    Huh? What was that?
    The small red wolf's ears pricked in attention, and he opened his eyes after a nice nap inside an empty cardboard box he had found in the nearby park, beside one of the benches. He wasn't too worried about being found by humans. He was small enough of a cub to be mistaken for a dog... a pet. Secretly, he prayed he would be thought of as one, and possibly taken in. He missed his housefolk, and wanted nothing more than to find himself a new home.
    His light brown eyes opened to the sunshine and he inhaled deeply. It was rare to find a grassy area in the city, so the park was always his favorite place to be. Surprisingly, not many humans came around there, so he was left alone most of the time.
    However, he had noticed a young, dark haired human girl that came by sometimes with her large bird, and by the look in her eyes, he could tell she was friendly towards animals. The love she had for her hunting falcon was written all over her face. If only he could summon up enough courage to show himself to her. Perhaps she could be his new owner!
    He could imagine it now, being well fed all of the time, with a warm fireplace to sleep by, and every morning, she would awaken to take him outside and they'd play all day without a care in the world. The wolf's eyes glowed brightly at the thought, and he continued to daydream about the life he wished he had. Snapping out of his vision, he became more alert.
    Toboe, focus! Someone's coming!
    Blue (*fangirl scream* :3)
    The black and blue canine's cold icy eyes glittered with malice as she scented the air. The old man had given her the scent of the wolf he had just recently come across, and she was ready to track it. Her hatred of the wolves only spawned from the human she lived with. He had retold his story many, many times, about how the wolves had killed his family. But the shaggy blue-black wolfdog was unsure. The man didn't have any hard evidence.
    But he was all she had, and she wasn't about to make him think she failed him also. She was his loyal partner and had to stick with the old man until the very end. Somewhere, deep down inside, she knew she loved him somewhat. All she really craved was his approval.
    And to earn that she needed to kill a wolf.
    She could track them easily, but catching the d*mn things were a lot harder than you'd expect. They were powerful and quick. She'd had a recent encounter with a large grey one and he had left her with a minor sprain in her forepaw. Stupid mutts. Once she got her paws on one of those things, she'd tear out it's throat the first chance she got. Yeah, yeah, dogs might descendants of wolves, but her kind weren't such beasts. Her kind knew what love meant.
    She lifted her snout into the air, scenting the area for the rest of the trail. But it had almost completely faded. She snarled, baring her sharp fangs. Great, outfoxed again by a wolf. No wonder they hadn't entirely become extinct. They were hard suckers to kill. It was as if they had some sort of internal willpower that drove them to survive through anything.
    The blue dog snorted to herself disgusted. Her paws thundered against the stony ground as she caught a trace of the wolf that had just passed through. The adrenaline coursed through her veins, her muscles rippling beneath her pelt. Her legs were strong and they'd carry her far. She felt as if she could run forever and never tire out. Behind her, the large, dark canine could hear her master's footsteps as they followed farther behind.
    "Don't lose 'em, Blue!" The man shouted gruffly, his voice low and gravelly. She wasn't about to lose anyone. But, the scent of the alcohol that came off of her human overpowered the wolf scent, even though he was at least twenty feet from her. It was hard tracking when the sickening smell always distracted her from the trail.
    Skidding to a halt, Blue's claws scraped the stone, and she growled, her eyes narrowed. The wolf was gone. The trail was gone, and she had failed, yet again.
    D*mn!
    ((Tsume will come later :3))
    Kanelle cursed to himself, spitting furiously at the pain that raged all over him due to his burns. But that didn't matter. What mattered was Kazuni's life. He weakly limped over to his sister, who now sat awake, coughing on the thick smoke that choked out any oxygen that may have existed. She was whimpering, terrified and shaking, and he attempted to help her up. Everyone needed to head back to the Etherwood Society's territory and stay safe.
    Also, they would need to get those burns treated as soon as possible.
    Luckily, Kazuni was the healer's apprentice... but unfortunately her herbs burned in the fire. After it was safe again, the society would have to go hunt for herbs. Did Kazuni know how to treat burns though? She hadn't received her full training before the last healer had died. Was she skilled enough to do this? They would need to find her a new mentor and fast.
    "Come on!" Kanelle bellowed, grabbing the trembling grey and white vixen's scruff in his jaws. It was time to leave the site, and pray that the fire would be put out by the torrential downpour of rain.
    It was time to go home.
    (Dannng Crimson, I'm lovin' you already :) Nice to know you also enjoy good grammar!! Welcome, and also, I shall add your new character too Soaringskys. Sorry I haven't been on. I have had no muse recently... I've been quite upset recently. I'm sorry. I'll just be a little slow and out of it for a while, guys. Forgive me?)
    Hazecloud let a small grin overcome her face, some blood on her jaws. Her fangs glistened as she let out a hearty howl. So this is what being a wolf is like! She turned her head to see Darkstar, and closed her eyes, purring blissfully.
    (No problem :) Nice to have you aboard. I also began a new wolf pack roleplay... but it's kind of dead right now. I blame myself for that. *sigh* Perhaps you'd like to join and help me liven things up? I've never created a roleplay that was this dead.)
    ((Also, to Elita, you made her as a newcomer to the forest, so she needs to step up and begin to help with the herbs so we can determine that she will be mentoring Kazuni and be the healer!!))
    The grey cross fox vixen opened her chocolate brown eyes to the bright daylight. How long had she slept in? The ground was still damp from the storm that occurred a few nights before, and she had slept mostly all day ever since. The fear and shock had drained all of the energy she had left. She knew she needed to work with herbs and help fix the wounds on the foxes who were involved with the fire, but she just couldn't find the heart or the strength to get up. It was as if the trauma from the fire had bothered her so greatly she fell into a bit of a depression.
    Kanelle padded over to his sister, a freshly killed hare in his jaws, and his black and silver fur shimmering in the afternoon sun. He set down the prey in front of her, and nudged it forward, whimpering slightly. "Come on, sis, you need to eat something." He frowned as he watched her eyes stay dull and uninspired. She was never like this. Sure she was quiet normally, but never this quiet. It broke his heart to see her so unhappy. He attempted to nuzzle Kazuni, and recoiled back, flinching at the pain his burns had inflicted. Kanelle let out a whine. He needed treatment on his burns soon. Stupid fire.
    Fortunately, the torrential downpour of rain had doused the fire before it could spread to the rest of the forest. But the area where the river met the lake was blackened and covered in ashes. The herb patch Kazuni went to most often was singed, and the herbs there were unusable. That little area of the forest was always the most beautiful place, especially at night, and it was Kazuni's favorite place. It served as her muse, and a place to rest and think quietly in peace. With a sigh he realized just how much that spot meant to her. Now there was a large, dead, and burnt tree lying in the middle of it all, and the land reeked of smoke and charcoal.
    So that's why she was so out of it.
    (CRAP XD SORRY!! I typed in the wrong name!!!! >.<" Told you I'm out of it!!! Anywho, then I shall address that same message to Aquatickit's Esmeralda. This is a very important position and needs to be filled ASAP! :3)
    ((Hm, I might as well make announcements to the others while I'm at it. Soaringskys, you may keep Jay's knowledge of herbs, and he will be allowed to help whenever the healer is not around, or when someone is in need. :3))
    (((I have updated the current news on the front page, along with adding the new foxes. I do need to know however if Jay and/or Isis are looking for a mate so I can put it on the front page, just so others can see and perhaps plan on trying to pick a mate. If you two could tell me as soon as you can I would appreciate it!! <3)))
    ((((One last thing, and dang that's a lot of parentheses, post as much as you want, keep this thing going! I'm sorry I've been out of it, but perhaps if we get some good storylines going, I'll get my muse back. Thank you everyone for understanding. I love you all <3))))
    Aurelia nodded to the newcoming cat, but she didn't take her eyes of the young princess. She desperately wished her brother Alyxander was with her to help them out. After all, he seemed to be the best in bad situations, and he was basically her voice, since she didn't speak much. He would know what to do.
    Bowing low to speak to Memoria, Aurelia whispered softly her tone sad, "It'll be okay, dear princess. All of The Civil is here to make sure you will live through this. I'm not sure if you can hear me, but if I can do anything for you to help, I will. You just say the word." She prayed the she-cat would speak again, for that was a good sign that she was doing slightly better.
    Kanelle let out a long sigh, and licked one of the burns on his shoulder gingerly. He flinched again when it stung, and whimpered. Looking down at his sister, he felt choked up, "Kazuni..." The young male silver fox licked his sister's ear, hoping to see some spark of light in her eyes. "Everything's okay now... it'll be okay," he spoke, his voice lowering, and on the last word his voice rang a soft whisper in the vixen's ear.
    Her ear twitched, but she closed her eyes and turned away, unspeaking.
    Kazuni's brother felt helpless. He wanted desperately to cheer her up, but didn't know how. Perhaps if he brought her a friend, or maybe some herbs...? At this point, he was unsure, but would go to the ends of the earth to make her happy again. Kanelle nuzzled her lightly, as to not put himself in anymore pain, and he silently vowed he would brighten her mood. Padding away from their den they shared in the hollow stump, he pondered what he could do to help his dear sister. Clearly her favorite prey didn't do anything.
    He scented the air, hoping an idea would hit him.
    Huh. That's funny. He could scent Elita, but there was another fox with her. Who could it be? Curious, Kanelle bounded through the woods until he came across the two.
    Kanelle stood before the strange male fox before him by Elita's side. He cocked his head to the side slightly, curious. Why were so many new foxes coming into the society now? It puzzled him, but he was glad to welcome anyone who wished to live in the society. The silver fox bowed slightly in greeting. "Welcome, newcomer. My name is Kanelle, and you are?" He kept his tone light and his pelt flat on his back. The red fox seemed quite tense and wary of his surroundings. Kanelle just wanted him to see that he was in a safe place. The foxes in the Etherwood Society were pretty friendly, though he didn't speak with any of them besides his sister Kazuni all too much.
    Kanelle nodded to the stranger, his eyes bright. "Welcome, Jay. You are free to find a den wherever you wish, if you plan on staying that is." Looking to Elita he smiled, "And I do hope you'll stay." Perhaps bringing a new fox into the society would spark Kazuni's interest!
