She thought of what she would see in this new place, first thinking of a huge city full of other creatures, then thinking of a sunny, peaceful countryside. The inkling's long hair swayed backward as a strong breeze blew in, and for a moment she ducked, almost falling over. She quickly righted herself up, but kicked down a large object, making a pretty loud sound.

Maxine glanced at Oscar weirdly, pulling her leg a bit quickly out of their hand, and getting up. "Uh, hi!" She waved, still rather cheerful. She blinked, stared at the ground, noticing a pair of glasses not far away. The young inkling squinted, racing over to pick them up. She stared at the texture of the glasses for a moment, then scurried back to where Oscar was standing.. "These yours?" Maxine reached out with the glasses in her hand towards Oscar.

Her expression only turned a bit more cheerful. "You're welcome very much! Er, forgiven." she added on in a bit of a more mellow tone. "Anyway, what's your name?" She inquired, with a small tip of her head. "I'm Maxine, by the way. Why are you out here?"

i do like the background though, i'll try changing the text color or finding a similar bg
edit: this still hard to read? i'll be changing the color a bit to see if it's okay, if this pink and orange doesn't work i'll change the bg
