Does the "Feel another cat's pain" have to be bought at birth? Or could it happen after the two cats/kits meet each other?

I know that.I have been here for a year and a half, sicne it was a proboards site. But is there a rule saying you had to have it bought when they ae born? What if the two cats met, and they had the link since birth, but it never really....was 'activated' until the two of them met?

Shadowheart flattened his ears as Winterkit jumped on his tail and bit it with thorn-sharp teeth. The tom winced, whipping the tail from Winterkit as Craterkit joined in the attack. Shadowheart groaned, sending Icepath a look when she encouraged the kits. an alarm flashed in his eyes. HELP I'm being devoured by a patrol of kits!

Rosekit bounded over to her mother, purring as she wrapped her thin body around Icepath's leg. "Am I allowed to join in the fight?" she purred, her large, amber eyes filled with innocence.

Shadowheart sighed, grinning at his mate while he let his tail slip from Winterkit's grasp. The tom dangled it above him, and the kit leaped into the air. As Winterkit grabbed his tail, again, Shadowheart felt astonishment. "Nice jump, " he complimented his kit, then swiveled his head to Craterkit. "I have been sad." he replied quietly. He glanced at Icepath, then glanced away, forcing the thoughts of his mate and two dead kits away.

Rosekit's eyes lit up, and her amber eyes watched her father. She bounded over to her brother, smiling. She tried standing on her hind paws, and swiping at her fathers chest, but all she managed to do was trip over herself and fall toward Craterkit.

What I meant was, don't turn to someone who it has never happened before. Just because they had trainign, it doesn't mean they know what is going on. If you can't escape, turn to someone who won't ask you endless questions, someone who can comfort you. If you don't have that, then you can go see professional, but to me, I've always coped, even when i wished I rather be dead.

Go to the Manage Subaccounts and click the unlink botton on the subaccount you want to delete. You'll unlink after being asked to retype the password to that account
