Badgerpaw nodded and followed his mentor. He noticed Vaporpaw glaring at him from the den, but he didn't care too much at the moment.

Vaporpaw glared at Hollyflight as he came into camp and she flicked her tail in annoyance.

"My new mentor is the Deaf cat!", Vaporpaw said. She flopped down on the ground, sniffing disdainfully. "WHy did I have to get him?"

"Yeah, for somebody like you!", Vaporpaw spat at her sister, "I should be taught by the deputy or the leader!"

"Why are you sorry?!", Vaporpaw snarled, "Its not your fault!"

Vaporpaw cralwed out of the apprentice's den and stepped to the side. She was still pretty angry so when Badgerpaw followed her out, she swished some dirt onto his pelt. He yowled like he'd been clawed in the leg and began grooming.

Vapourpaw hissed and leaped on Scrappaw.
Badgerpaw looked up at Flutterpaw. "Yeah, I'm fine. just don't like having a messy pelt", He said, glancing back at his other siblings. "Oh boy. Here we go".

"Next time, don't push me or I'll rip your mangy pelt off", she replied, her fur fluffed up.
Badgerpaw shook his head. "Come on guys, knock it off".

"My voice is not annoying!", Vapourpaw, hissed, "Its beautiful. And I am perfect. Your just jealous!"
Badgerpaw threw himself between the two fighting apprentices. "Cool it!"

"I'm not going to fight you", Badgerpaw said, but Vapourpaw started pushing at him.
"I can take care of Grumpy by myself, thank you!", she cried.

"What!", Vapourpaw cried, "This is your fault Scrappaw!"
'I was trying to make them stop!", Badgerpaw protested.

"Hmmp. Fine", Vapourpaw said, padding away to find Hollyflight. She flicked her tail in Scrappaw's face as she passed him.

Earth was walking on Firefly Hill when he spotted Flutterpaw hiding. Normally, he would have just kept walking, but...there was something different. He walked over to her and mewed, "What are you doing?"

Earth jumped at the she-cat's outburst. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you."

"I've always lived here", Earth said, "Do you want me to leave?"

Earth twitched his whiskers. "Your Clanmates?"
