History~ She grew up swimming. At the age of three her father gave Tarana her first trident, and from then on trained her to use the trident skillfully. Her mother taught her about human anatomy, about where to strike and how to know when someone is actually dead. Her older brother, Logreano, is 19 and was not selected for the Games. He was disappointed, but trained Tarana about stealth. How to not make a sound. She has three fears: Spiders, the dark, and tight spaces. Her fear of spiders came when she was bitten by a black widow at a young age, causing her to become extremely ill. Her fear of the dark comes down to not being able to see her targets and where to strike. And her fear of tight spaces comes down to not being able to maneuver her trident where it needs to go. She was born nearsighted ("Who cares! I'm not a long-range fighter anyway! Plus, my bad vision gave me better than average hearing!"), and can be reckless when she gets angry or blinded by bloodlust.
