Jarek's jaw dropped open as he stared at her. "Chryis, I..." he started, but then he shut his mouth and his gaze dropped to the floor. He stood there, silent, un-moving for several moments, apparently deep in thought. Then the party started.

Of course he didn't start cheering and jumping up and down in front of Chryis, could he get any more lame? Instead he celebrated inside, and kept his exterior as thoughtful as it had been before. "Thanks, Chryis," he stated honestly, "You won't regret it. I promise. What about Leyko? Will you tell her as well?" Jarek asked, truly curious. He had come to like the little girl as well.

Jarek nodded in understanding, liking the idea, though worry for when the time came to reveal the truth was present. "Okay. You got it, sweetheart. I assume you want to do it now?" he ran a hand through his hair absently, glancing at the door Cayle and Leyko had vanished behind just a few minutes ago. He would have to get Liam to leave. His brother was not unintelligent, but sometimes it took him a little while to get really complex stuff, and it would be just like him to blurt out "No you're not," when Jarek told both Cayle and Leyko he was their father.

Markus sat in a ball with a wall to his back, his knees drawn up to his chest and his head resting on them. He was singing something to himself over and over again, though Rihanna couldn't tell what it was.

"Markus? Hey. I don't think we ever met," she stated, determined to be nice to the small teenager despite her bad feeling about him. He looked up at her with curious eyes and she forced herself to smile.

"I know who you are. Rihanna. His sister," Markus replied indifferently, coming to a stand rather awkwardly and tilting to one side slightly. "Why did you come looking for me?" he asked, cocking his head to one side at her, causing his whole body to tilt even more.

Rihanna had to resist the urge to chuckle at how much he was reminding her of Rue right now. "I was just wondering where you'd gotten to. We should stick together in this city," she pointed out. After staring at her for what felt like hours Markus nodded, and the two began the journey back to the apartment.

Jarek nodded again and moved to the door. "Liam? Could you bring the munchkins back in here for a moment?" he called through, and then returned to his previous position once he hard the muffled agreement. A few moments later Liam emerged from the room, sheparding Cayle and Leyko along in front. "D'you want me to stay?" he asked, displaying an unusual amount of intuition. Something told the tall, golden-haired boy that something was going to happen here, something important.

"Naw, you should help Rihanna find that other kid," Jarek suggested, at which Liam shrugged agreement and left.

Cayle cocked his head at Jarek and Chryis once Liam had exited. "Is everything okay, mommy?" he asked cautiously, not really understanding what was going on.

Jarek took a deep breath and kneeled down so he was at the kids' level. "No, daddy wasn't daddy. But he still loved you both very much. I..." Jarek gulped, finding the words to get out.

"He... Wasn't your real dad. I am," he managed to get out, blowing out air through his nostrils as a release for the tension of the moment. "Mommy and I had a fight just before you were born and I had to go away for awhile, so Leon took care of you. But now Mommy and I have made up, and so I came back," he added, to try and make more sense. Seven, this was intense.

Cayle shook his head at Leyko with a long-suffering sigh. "Why? A brother would be so much better," he protested before giving a massive grin to Jarek. "I think I understand... Daddy," Cayle giggled, apparently liking the sound of that.

Jarek smiled slowly at Leyko, "Maybe, munchkin, maybe," he replied, turning to wink at Chryis. He would never stop being an annoying jerk. Hehe. He just wouldn't be Jarek if he did. Although, his smirk turned into a real smile when Cayle called him Daddy. Ah, this had been so worth it. He felt like singing Drunk on You again, but Chryis would probably hit him or something.

Jarek grinned openly at Leyko then turned to Chryis. "Sorry, love, I'll behave," he told her with a falsely contrite expression.

"You're a liar," Cayle declared with a giggle, at which Jarek turned and raised an eyebrow at the boy.

"Now that wasn't nice, Cayle," he chastised before starting to tickle the five year old. Cayle gave a surprised laugh and struggled as Jarek tickled him mercilessly, both of them quickly becoming breathless.

Jarek just couldn't stop smiling. This was bloody fantastic, regardless of what other Eclipse members had told him. "Kids are boring", "Kids get underfoot,". Well, the latter would certainly be true... Hehe.

Jarek froze as he heard the noises. "Hang on a sec you two," he told them urgently, straining his ears. Gunshots.

"Sh*t. Looks like the fun ain't over," Jarek growled. "You three stay here. I'd actually rather have you with me out there, Chryis, but there's no one else here and I doubt either of us want to leave these two alone. I gotta find out who's bein' so trigger happy out there," Jarek rose growled again, deeply displeased. Whoever had interrupted his first time as a father was soon to enjoy a very long leap into a very hot pit. As in hell. Suckers.

Rihanna tenses and turned toward the gunshot noises just as Markus did. The two immediately ducked into any nearby cover, despite the noises being slightly far off. No point in not being careful. "Investigate, or get back to the apartment?" she asked Markus quietly.

"Investigate, duh," a different voice came from beside her. Rihanna turned to nod at her brother where he crouched slightly behind her. Mask must have been rubbing off on him, she hadn't heard him coming. "Jarek is obviously going to, we'd best back him up," Liam pointed out. Markus and Rihanna quickly agreed, and the three started moving toward the sounds.

Jarek turned back to Chryis as she grabbed his sleeve. "What?" he asked impatiently, not able to think of anything she would say just at this moment. Unless... No, she may not hate him anymore, but she still couldn't care less about his well-being. Could she? Yeah, she did, but only because Cayle and Leyko would be devastated if he bit the dust now. Yeah, that had to be it.

Jarek stared at her for a few seconds, though it felt like hours, before straightening up slowly. "Yeah," he replied absently, thunder-struck, before pivoting and leaving the apartment in a daze. Chryis had just... Had she? Yes she had, he was no longer a psycho. No more delusion excuses. Oh yeah, he was gonna read a whole ton into it.

The Eclipse leader's mind whirled as he made his way onto the street. He spotted Sarge and Church and quickly ran over to them. "What in the bloody seven hells is going on?" Jarek demanded, squinting in the direction of the gunshots.

Jarek raised his head when the jeep went on a spinning fest. He thankfully hadn't been on it, but it looked like now he had to move. "Great," he muttered, poking his head out of cover just enough to see the soldiers. "Here we go," he growled, raised the Desert Eagle in one hand and one of Mask's handguns in the other, and began to fire at the losers. "Get out of the wreckage you lot, I can't cover you forever," he called to Sarge, who he could see in the fallen jeep.

OOC: It goes well. I've almost decided the format to use when typing up my reminder! Yes, it took me that long. Snarkiness aside, I'm glad you posted. I was getting sort of depressed about the future of this thread, I was hoping for someone to say something so I knew it wasn't doomed. xD Let's get a head call up here. Mocking never replied to my PM, and you came back basically on your own anyway. Hopefully the rest will flock back now.

    Name: Sansa Greenfield
    Nickname(s): None
    Gender: Female
    Age: 16
    Appearance:

Sansa is a tall, slender girl, rather willowy in build, though her slim frame belies a subtle strength. Her hair goes down to her elbows when she hasn't bound it into some sort of ponytail or bun, which is rare, and is a deep auburn color. Her eyes are a steel gray, and her face is fine and delicate, her skin pale, but not porcelain white. Not a provocative beauty by any means, Sansa does prefer dresses, the subtle, elegant ones, though she rarely indulges in them, instead opting to wear hoodies and jeans wherever possible, for fear of being noticed.
Personality: Sansa seems like a wallflower to many who meet her. She uses courtesy as armor, never seeming rude or presumptuous, always aiming to please. But in truth, she is no push-over. While giving you every courtesy to your face, she will be planning exactly how to escape. She is naive, however, and believes all the stories about knights in shining armor and damsels in distress, believing a gallant man will always rescue her if she is in danger. Her naivete cannot last long in the gang world, but for now it still holds firm.
    Mafia or Loner: Loner
    What Mafia Family: N/A
    Rank: N/A
If Female who is your “Guardian”: N/A
Other: Like Tezzeh, I decided to add another character. Just one for me, though.

"Just don't get full on shot," Jarek snarled, taking a soldier out with a well placed bullet. He took a deep breath, withdrew a throwing knife, and flung the deadly sharp weapon at another one. The man cried out as the knife took him in the chest and he fell like a sack of stones.

The sound of a shotgun firing filled the street, and a third soldier went down. Liam ducked behind cover quickly, shotgun still smoking, but not quick enough to avoid the bullet that smacked into his arm. "Sh*t!" he growled as Rihanna quickly moved to bandage it, Markus cowering behind an open door. They only had the one gun between them, after all.

Sansa turned her head slightly, to better hear the noises of the gang patrol. It was definitely that, a patrol, no other large groups of men were present in the Loner lands. Well, she said "large" with a good dose of relativity, most groups in these parts of the world, if they existed at all, were usually only comprised of two or three people. As usual, she was grateful for the hoodie that masked her bright auburn hair, though she remained quiet and still all the same.

Laeonar continued to write the letter, despite the boy standing in his office. The Remanari boss gave him not so much as a spare glance until he clicked the pen and placed it back amongst the others. Only then did he raise his green and gold-flecked eyes to the Remanari commander. "I assume you're here to try and convince me to send more patrols into the Loner territories?" he asked coolly, at which Robb grimaced.

"Yes, father. We have few enough females as it is, and no matter how strong the ones we do have are, we do not have enough," Robb pointed out, his steel-gray eyes seemingly emotionless. "Allow me to send in more patrols, and I can find you the kind of females we need," he requested.

"...Very well. So long as you lead the first yourself. It is about time you had a girl under your wing, Robb," Laeonar suggested, gazing at his son dispassionately.

Robb, however, did not seem pleased. His jaw worked so hard you could hear his teeth grinding together in Zamosknys territory. An exaggeration, of course, but you get the point. "As you say," the young Commander replied shortly before turning and leaving the room.
