"Windhelm? Aye. That city is worse than most. I always have to travel past it to reach Winterhold, always a pain. Winterhold and Riften are the only cities in this province that I actually like," Ardreaen realized, shaking his head slightly. "But it's about as far from Summerset Isle as you can get, unless I decided to pack up shop and head to Morrowind, which is not in the cards."

Liam chuckled happily, swimming deeper into the ocean at record speeds. How could anyone not love water? It was just so... Freeing.
-
"Well, Morrowind is simply... Rucks. Is that Kytani, in a skirt and shirt?" Ardreaen asked, his eyes widening as they lit onto the Khajiit. "Or is that simply an illusion someone is working on me?" he asked.
-
Ardreaen chuckled, tearing his eyes from the un-armored Guild Leader and watching the other patrons casually. "To answer your previous question, Morrowind is not so... Tolerant of High Elves as Skyrim is. And Skyrim hates us. You do the math," the Altmer said with a slight smile.
"Kytani. Not an illusion, then, no illusion spell can imitate a voice perfectly," Ardreaen quipped.
-
OOC: Lol, oops xD Hehe.
IC: "Kytani. I was starting to worry that you were in truth a vampire, for you never seemed to see the light of day," Ardreaen teased lightly.
-
"Of course. Plus, possibly, a few extras, but we'll have to see if they work. I'll have to make a detour to Winterhold after the job is done, I hear they have retrieved several rare tomes in the past months," Ardreaen replied, remembering his wine after seeing Kytani drink and sipping it.
-
Liam started swimming like he was in competition, swimming with all his speed to one end of an imaginary pool, then making a sharp turn and swimming to the other.
-
Liam nodded at her. "I know, but I gotta keep this up if I want to keep mah manleh muscles," he replied with a chuckle, flexing his arm at her.
-
"Poor fellow doesn't even get a kiss out of it," Ardreaen said with his own chuckle. "Are you certain Curin is ready for this? She is only a trainee..." Ardreaen asked, leaning forward slightly.
-
The Altmer winced slightly. "Aye, I remember all too well," he replied, resisting the urge to feel the scar on his arm, which was currently hidden by the tunic he wore. He would prefer to wear mage robes, of course, but the people of Riften dislikes him enough as it was. "Although, I enjoyed the challenge it brang. Nothing like a good robbery to get the heart pumping, especially in the dark. I do not understand the inclination of most mages to immediately throw up a Magelight in dark areas, it only acts as a beacon," Ardreaen admitted, finishing his wine in a last sip.
-
Liam smirked at her. "Aren't they a part of your crush? Or is it just my sparkling personality?" he asked.
-
"Or I could do it, if you allow it. Such things are not difficult, and I know the enemy we will be facing. Either way, he will be well looked after, I think," Ardreaen offered lazily. The elf's eyes flicked between the other patrons, his keen gaze missing little as he assessed each and every one of them.
-
Liam pouted as he rubbed his arm, as if her punch had really hurt. "Ow," he whined, giving her a puppy dog expression.
-
"Ouch, princess, now that did hurt," he teased. "Y'know, I've only known you for a day, so why do I have the urge to just hug you and never let go?" Liam asked after a few moments hesitation.
-
Ardreaen smiled warmly at the source of the laughter, and then gestured conspicuously. A very small, almost unnoticeable glow came into being, and a candle flame flickered, causing one of the laughing men's beards to become suddenly rather hot. He yelped, batting at his face, and the laughter abruptly stopped as each of the man's friends tried to help him put it out. "Pathetic," Ardreaen murmured, shaking his head slightly.
-
"Err... Yeah," Liam replied a little guiltily. "Sorry I never... Umm... Noticed you. I never did pay much attention to anything at school," he told her, rubbing the back of his neck.
-
"I will prepare myself for our arrangement," Ardreaen said with a nod. "I have a spell book to re-order," he remembered, and stood. The Altmer walked out of the Bee and Barb, muttering under his breath about various incantations.
-
"You should have. You're a great girl, Luna, don't forget that," Liam replied softly, meaning every word. "Anyway, as much I'm enjoying this, let's head back. I'm finally hitting a wall here, and I'll probably need a little cat nap," he told her with a grin.
-
"Smart girl," Liam shot back with a laugh, swimming back as well. "Hey... Where d'ya think Danny went? She just vanished," he asked, just noticing the girl's absence.
-
"Hmm. Okay. She probably just got tired or something," Liam decided as they reached the shore. "Aww, crap. I left my shirt at the lake... Oh well. I'll get it later," he said.
