Liam was silent as he got out of the car, and he didn't even bother to wave goodbye at his equally silent father. He absently fished his timetable out from his jean pocket and scanned it quickly. Nothing particularly interesting, though he supposed he would have to find his dorm and all.
-
Liam once more glanced down at his time table. Boy's Dorm 2. Alright, cool. He entered the school and froze in astonishment. What kind of school has a forest and a lake inside? He spotted a girl not far from him with a similar look of amazement and he walked over to her.
"I certainly didn't expect this," he said by way of greeting.
(That's Luna he's talking to btw)
-
"Heh, I guess a school for shapeshifters can't be normal," Liam replied, looking around more. "I'm Liam, by the way," he introduced himself, holding out a hand to the girl.
-
"Excellent, at least now I know one person in this place. Although, I'll probably be spending most of my time in that lake, if it's safe. I wonder what temperature they keep it at..." Liam trailed off, glancing at the lake.
-
Liam stared at the two figures, surprised. A slow grin spread across his features, happy that the lake must be safe to swim in if there were people on that island. It was a little odd he loved the water so much, considering he was kinda half cat, but he never really thought about it. "I wonder what those two are doing over there?" he asked no one in particular.
-
"Ah. That answers that. And hi!" Liam stated, turning to Dare. He immediately did a double-take. Whoah! That girl looked just like him! Well, sorta. Same coloring. "Opening announcements, I guess," he suggested, turning back to the lake. "I'm Liam," he remembered to tell Dare.
-
Cool names Liam thought to himself briefly. He wondered if they were shifters... If so, was Eagle an eagle and was Parrot a parrot? That'd be even cooler. He ignored the slightly chilly air, compared to the freezing water he often swam in this was a sauna.
-
Liam nodded, glancing around. He spotted a few buildings among the trees, which meant one of those was probably his dorm. Good. Maybe he could actually personalize his dorm, instead of that pathetic hole with cracked walls and peeling paint that he had been sleeping in before. Stupid dad.
-
Liam nodded and gave a small smirk. "Yep. I like it. Although, the lack of a beach here is a little depressing, I wonder what else there is to do here?" he thought out loud.
-
"How could they fit a beach in here? Well, more importantly, how could they fit a beach with waves? I doubt that's possible, although it would be amazing if they could. And I like the size of it. Gives us a chance to run around in our other forms," Liam replied, nodding at the huge forest around them.
-
Liam whistled in appreciation, glancing over the wolf. "Nice! I've always liked wolves. Hrmm, let me see if I can find a bush big enough... Aha," he muttered, moving toward another bush. A few moments later a large lion emerged from it, his golden pelt flashing slightly in the light.
-
Liam roared in reply, enjoying himself. It was rare he could just let loose and transform like this, and even rarer that he could dare make any noise while doing so.
-
Liam followed, managing to keep up but not quite catch up to the female wolf. He absolutely loved how none of the nearby kids even looked twice at a wolf being chased by a lion.
-
Liam stopped near her and sat down himself. He glanced around, interest in his now crystal blue eyes. He rolled over once or twice, scratching his back, before returning to his feet and shaking the dust off himself.
-
Liam growled playfully and started tottering around like he was on the brink of falling, all the while trying to shake the wolf off. Of course he wasn't about to fall, the muscles in his legs were strong enough to support both of them.
-
Liam twisted his head around and began to wash his back carefully, removing the dirt still on it. He got an idea then and turned toward the lake, running into it full sprint and crashing into the water. He paddled around, roaring happily. He loved water.
-
After a few minutes he clambered out, shaking himself thoroughly and soaking the grass around him.
