Berrypaw backed into the shadows, making sure nobody could see him. He let his hang low.

Berrypaw raised his head in the direction of Pantherpaw. He huffed and flicked his ear, then looked down again.

|| ic || Polarbear padded over to his apprentice. "Would you rather hunt or battle train?"

Sotmrpaw nodded and padded away.

Berrypaw felt the vibrations of an approaching cat, then breathed in the scent. He looked up. "Morning, Snowfawn..." He meowed.

Polarbear padded back into camp, then slightly looked back to see if Lillypaw was following. He dropped his prey on the freshkill pile, then looked around for Angelpaw.

Polarbear pricked his ears, then silently trotted to where Angelpaw was. He purred lightly when he saw her.

Polarbear licked her forehead and nuzzled her.

Berrypaw looked away. "I embarrassed myself...... I hate being blind!" He muttered, flattening his ears.

He huffed. "Come out. I mean no harm." He meowed, tail swishing on the ground.

Berrypaw's nose twitched and he stood up, then nodded slowly. "I'd still like to see everyone... I don't know what anything looks like; not even myself!" He growled silently.

The tom narrowed his eyes. "What's there to apologize about?" He meowed, then bowed his head. "Forgive me- my name is Brokenwing, fourmer deputy of ForestClan."

Brokenwing's nose twitched. "I'm guessing you're wondering why I was fourmer deputy...?" He meowed.

Brokenwing sat down. "I was born with a splayed paw- " He held up his white paw, showing her it was the splayed one. " -and was bullied all my life. One day, unexpectedly, I was appointed deputy. I was looked down upon, though. The affliction was greater, because the others thought I didn't deserve to be a high rank. They thought I was a sign from the Dark Forest... And it became worse when the leader heard. He had orginized a patrol one evening, with me included. I was then attacked by them. Luckily, I fought them off. I dropped from the Clan and became a loner. No Clan will accept now....." He finished, then looked down at his paws. "Your eyes are a beautiful pink, by the way." He added quietly.

Berrypaw blinked and nodded again.

Berrypaw followed, barely limping.

Polarbear purred and pricked his ears, then turned his head and saw Falconstar. "I wanted to show you something, Angelpaw. We'll go when Falconstar goes back to sleep." He whispered. "If he does, anyways..."

Polarbear nodded. "Come on." He stood up and silently sprinted out of camp, then stopped and waited for Angelpaw.

Polarbear nodded and started to sprint away. He stopped at a thornbush with a few small vines. He looked back and saw Angelpaw, then slipped inside. He lead her into a clearing full of colourful flowers. In the middle was a tall, beautiful blossom tree surrounded by a pond with Koi fish and lily pads. It was crawling with prey and butterflies and all sorts of other creatures. The white tom looked at Angelpaw and smiled, awaiting her reaction.
