Peeta stood still as rock, as the mayor talked he glanced over in his family's direction. His father and mother shocked as he was too standing on this stage.

Mercadespaw looked at him suspicously before catiously relaxing,"What's your name?" she asked. She glanced back to where she had stored her prey to make sure it wasn't being stolen by predator or a rouge of some sort.

Effie stepped up,"Thank-you for coming to this year's reaping." looking back to the two tributes she said,"May the odds be ever in your favor." stepping away from the mic she readied herself to wait in the Justice building. As the Peacekeepers came to escort them.

Peeta was behind Katniss looking around at the building, he had never been here before. The soft plush carpet smelt of mildew and mold common smells from around the Seam and shops. He was walked into a room with velvet couches and plush chairs like the carpets.

Vistors started coming in..

Peeta's family came to visit him briefly before going back to their house. So he sat in the room alone until Delly Carwight came to say goodbye also, then he was utterly alone letting only a few tears go.

Peeta looked around before wiping his face of any emotion, when the peacekeepers came he stayed quiet. Trying to keep his dignity in the only way he thought he could.

Effie looked at the two tributes when the train doors closed,"Come on I'll show you to your quarters, also dinner is three hours so don't eat anything till then." she said. Heading toward Katniss's cabin first.

Aubadekit eyed Madness,"Are you okay?" he asked curiously noticing how she forced her smile. Usually from what he had seen, she had always loved to socialize with others. He put his paw down and licked his cues fur nervously, when he lifted his head he trained his eyes to her's.

Ariaflare looked around at her kits once again, turning her attention to Heavenlykit she flicked her tail for her to come closer.

"Your room is down two doors on the left." she told Peeta, walking down to the next door and closing it behind her.

Peeta walked to his room silently entering and closing the door behind him, inside he sat down on his bed a looked at the room still stunned.

Aubadekit nodded in acceptance,"Want to play a game?" he asked in a moment of complete giddiness. He had always found playing something help others cheer up, including him.

Peeta got dressed in a simple t-shirt and pants just sitting in a chair sipping water. When Effie knocked on his door for dinner he fallowed her instruction to the dining car, sitting down and looking at the food.

Effie went to Katniss's door,"Dinner!" she called her energy clearly regained.

Peeta picked a small bowl of what seemed like chicken broth with some vegetables cut up into it, along with that he had an orange.

Ariaflare looked at her kit,"why don't you go play with your brothers or sisters?" she asked. She was suddenly hit by pang of worry about some of her kit's shyness.

Peeta took a glass of water and went into the car with the sofa and T.V in it. Sitting sliently on a couch he sipped on the water thinking.

Peeta woke up and smacked into the wall.

Peeta looked at Katniss dropping his cup slightly,"Do you have any siblings?" he asked tying to make small talk. And the fact that his was bored.

Peeta nodded,"I have three brothers." he said taking another drink off water before setting it down. His blue eyes looked out at one of the windows, watching miles pass by.

Ariaflare nodded,"You might have more fun if you try to be social, why not play with Magnanimouskit?" she suggested gently. Her tail flicking back and forth restlessly.
