Frostpelt stayed by his side.

Frostpelt looked down at her paws.
-
The she-cat took a paw-step back. "I'm not going to hurt you or your kit. I'm too old for fighting."
-
Frostpelt looked back up at the ThunderClan leader. "My Clan isn't at our camp and they're not here either."
-
Frostpelt looked over at Ripheart.
-
Frostpelt nodded.
-
Frostpelt followed him quietly.
-
"Because the apprentices won't hunt for any of the elders, and I'm the youngest of them. Plus I have a kit of my own to take care of." the she-cat replied calmly. Moonkit kept her eyes on the old she-cat.
-
Frostpelt ran after him.
-
"You're kidding, right? A ThunderClan warrior like you helping a ShadowClan elder?" the she-cat meowed, taken aback by his words.
-
Frostpelt sat next to him, lightly panting.
-
The she-cat thought for a moment them meowed, "Okay. Thank you. But what about your kit?"
-
-
Frostpelt lied next to him and closed her eyes. Images of her lost Clan swept through her mind like a leaf blowing in the wind. She thought of all of the things that might have happened to her Clan, and what would become of her if they never returned. A cat that looked almost exactly like her, just a bit darker, came to her mind. It was her brother, Frozenbreeze.
-
Moonkit nodded. The old she-cat smiled at Moonkit. "My kit is also almost an apprentice."
-
Frostpelt quickly opened her eyes and looked around, as if expecting to see her brother. When she didn't see him her heart filled with sadness.
-
"Back at my Clan's camp." The she-cat meowed. "And he looks a lot like her." She flicked her tail towards Moonkit.
-
Frostpelt looked over at Ripheart. Seeing that he was asleep, she got up and looked around the clearing once more. Will I ever see my brother again? she asked herself.
-
"No. . . Actually the kit I have wasn't really mine. I found him. And none of the other cats in my Clan would take him in, so I did."
-
Frostpelt looked over at the WindClan warrior's den. Something told her that there was a cat in there, but she didn't believe it. She sat down and looked up at the night sky.
