Character Name:
Heatherpelt
Character Age:
Fourteen moons
Gender:
She-cat
Alliance:
WindClan
Rank:
Warrior (new)
Appearance (6 or more sentences):
Heatherpelt has the build of an average WindClan cat. She has a small, petite frame, with long legs that are perfect for hunting on the moorland. Her short pelt is grey-lilac in color, and blends in well with the heather that grows in her home. Her fur is mostly uniform in color, though it darkens slightly around her ears, paws, and nose. Heatherpelt's blue gaze is a few shades darker than ice. She is a pretty she-cat, although not the most remarkable in appearance.
Personality (6 or more sentences--these sentences form their own section and do NOT count towards the 4 groups below. Those are additional requirements):
Heatherpelt feels comfortable with her place in WindClan. She knows who she is supposed to be; a warrior, loyal and caring. But her loyalty extends beyond what the Warrior Code expects, and her fierce faithfulness to her clanmates is something that she prides herself on. Around other warriors of WindClan Heatherpelt is a sociable, caring cat. Outside her territory's borders though, Heatherpelt finds it hard to talk to cats from other clans. Shyness overcomes her and even at Gatherings she stays with a group of WindClan cats at all times. Part of her meek nature around strange cats comes from her loyalty to the Warrior Code; Heatherpelt fears becoming too close to cats from other clans. Overall, Heatherpelt is devoted and caring - at least to the cats within her clan.
---Likes (at least 3):
Heatherpelt enjoys night hunting, particularly because her lilac-grey pelt is harder to see among the green grass in the dark. She also likes tending to other cats. If one of her clanmates is in the medicine cat's den, Heatherpelt will sit with them and often tell stories about StarClan to pass the time. Heatherpelt loves fish, though she's only had it once - and she wouldn't dare get friendly enough with a RiverClan cat in order to try it again.
--- Dislikes (at least 3):
Border patrols are one of Heatherpelt's least favorite things to do. Patrolling and marking the border often leads to meetings with cats from ShadowClan or RiverClan, which Heatherpelt has a fear of. She also has a bit of claustrophobia, hating to be in closed spaces (like most WindClan cats). Although Heatherpelt would never turn down prey, she has a dislike for any type of bird. The feathers are too much of a hassle, in her opinion.
---Strengths (No MORE than 5):
Heatherpelt is swift on her paws, even for a WindClan cat. She can outrun most of her clanmates and catch the quickest rabbits. She's also very good at caring for others and tending to their needs. She is a strong warrior, but her biggest strength is hunting.
---Weaknesses (At least 3):
Her major weakness is the inability to meet with cats outside of her clan. Due to this, she knows little to nothing about other clans, and what she does know comes from Gatherings and her own clanmates. Another downfall of Heatherpelt's is her dislike of patrolling. She tries to get out of patrols whenever she can to avoid the clan borders, and she is less of a well rounded warrior because of it. Her smaller weaknesses include being picky about prey (she doesn't like birds) and hating to get her paws wet.
History (8 or more sentences):
Heatherpelt was born and raised a WindClan cat, learning to love the fierce breezes and airy moorland of her home. At five moons, her foot slipped into a rabbit hole while she was running, and the injury took two moons to heal. This caused Heatherpelt to be apprenticed at seven moons, a moon later than her brother Gorsewhisker. Heatherpelt worked hard as an apprentice to make up for the lost time and was made a warrior at the same time as her brother. Only one moon after becoming a full warrior, Gorsewhisker fell into the river and drowned. This was a hard obstacle for Heatherpelt to overcome, but she grieved and life carried on. Now she keeps memory of her brother in her heart, and everyday she lives for him. Her life in WindClan as a warrior is good, and she knows that Gorsewhisker watches over her from StarClan. She feels his approval shine down on her from Silverpelt and is as close to him in dreams as she was in life.
Roleplay Sample (Required for first advanced bio):
Heatherpelt was crouched low in a patch of gorse. Her nose twitched with the scent of rabbit, and she saw it only a few fox-lengths away. Very suddenly the wind changed, and the rabbit's senses tipped it off. Immediately the rabbit began to race away, and Heatherpelt knew her only chance was to give chase. Her long legs and nimble paws were used to this type of hunting, and they carried her well. Soon she was coming up on the rabbit, the excitement of the hunt lending speed to her. With one last spurt of effort, Heatherpelt was upon her prey and she dispatched it with a swift bite to the neck. Stopping to catch her breath, Heatherpelt marveled in the feel of the moorland under her paws and the open sky above her. I'd better take this back to camp, she thought. She picked up the rabbit which was almost half the size she was, and as she carried it it obstructed her nose. With her scent glands blocked and her mouth clamped on the rabbit, Heatherpelt relied on her eyesight and ears to lead her back to camp.
Comments (optional):
This is my first attempt at an advanced roleplay. I find I'd rather write two paragraphs than two sentences, and that the story is much more exciting when it is in-depth.
