In the crowd of cats greeting her she spotted a familiar pelt, "...but it can't be...he was dead..." A gasp leaked out of her lips as she stood up quickly and hurried as fast as she could. She walked up to the cat named Renge, though she had no idea what his real name was, and gasped breathlessly "Timber...I-Is that you..." Hyacinth's mind was reeling "...could Timber really have survived the collision with that car..."

Achazia was a bit startled by this stealthy she-cat but she didn't let it show at all. She head her head high and said strongly "I want to join the Elite and leave my past behind." She waited to read the skinny she-cat's reaction.

Hyacinth wandered around aimlessly thinking about what had happened. Her mind buzzed with thoughts and questions but she dared not voice them. She wanted to fit in...to belong.

Pinebreeze flinched mentally as she saw Falcongaze's reaction to what she had said. She corrected "Well I don't really gossip about anyone...I just sort of drift off when they get to that discussion which makes me seem a bit out of my mind but I don't rally care..." she paused a few moments and added quietly "...I just don't like gossiping it can be hurtful and many cats suffer because of it..."

Frostscar nodded "Well I have to go somewhere, I will see you around Orangefur" She got up and walked out of the nursery.

Hyacinth replied quietly "Yeah, that would be nice Blueriver." She padded over to her and looked at Blueriver expectantly.

IC:Mothshadow looked at her leader and at Moonlightring. She didn't really want to talk about the incident with anyone but she knew that it was important. Mothshadow sighed, her throat burned as air rushed down it.

She contemplated what she was about to say for a moment then began "Well...I was out walking this morning out on Lone Hilltop and I stopped for a while..." she flinched as she remembered what she had been thinking about before Itami had come. "Then a loner,Itami, started a conversation with me. I asked him what life was like as a loner and said 'You get to do whatever you want and no one tells you what to do...and in return we get to do this..." then he jumped..." Mothshadow shuddered as the painful memory flooded her mind. "...I managed to fight him off at first... but he was to fast...he...he...got to me again and I...I...couldn't fight him off..." Mothshadow shuddered again as the memory bashed against the sides of her skull. She sat silently for a while shivering as her mind reminded itself of it's pain. When she spoke again it her voice was choked and and quiet."...I decided to put him through misery as well...I screamed, yowled, and hissed at the top of my lungs...when he was done with me...he...laughed..." Mothshadow debated about telling Winterstar and Moonlightring about her forgiving him but she shot that idea down almost instantly "They will think I am not quite right in the head." she thought to herself. Mothshadow then said quietly "...then he ran off...I couldn't tell which direction..." she paused again debating whether to tell them about what she thought. She began tentatively "...I don't think I am the first... or last...I would bet my life on it"

IC:Pinebreeze saw the instant change in Falcongaze's demeanor and mood and smiled. She noticed that she was sort of staring at the golden tom she looked down quickly to hide her embarrassment. " Yeah I totally agree with you..." she paused thinking then added, embarrassed "...about the gossip part..." Pinebreeze wasn't really used to compliments and how Falcongaze had reacted after he assumed she was gossiping about other toms got her a bit discombobulated with her thoughts.

OOC: love that word...mmmmmm...discombobulated

Maplesplash almost giggled but held it in.When she had looked at Shadowfrost she could see the nervousness in the tom's piercing blue eyes. "He has no idea that I am just as nervous as he is" she thought to herself giddily. When Shadowfrost brushed the tip of his tail across her shoulder it sent warm shivers all over her body even to the tips of her fluffy torbie fur. "mmmmm That feels so nice..." she thought warmly to herself. She closed her eyes orange eyes and purred quietly "Not...particularly..."

OOC: yeah I have been having a lot of guy trouble lately

"I have no intention of leaving" Achazia said bravely. She wondered if they were interested in why she had come here. Decided, she snapped "You want to know why I came here..." she paused for effect "My father abandoned me and my mother while she was dying a slow painful death..." she paused again "When she died, I wasted half of my life searching for him, enraged at what he had put me through, and do you know where I found him... holed up with a pretty little queen with kits that looked exactly like him." again she paused "I told an excuse and lured him to an ally and killed him" she glared at the two cats daring them to tell her off or freak out.

Achazia followed Wraith into the mansion.

Achazia padded proudly after Wraith. She knew she had to follow rules but at least she would look like she wanted to. She sat down and yawned. "I wonder what this Columbine looks like, she has to be pretty powerful to have this whole place reek of fear." she thought mildly. The scent burned her nostrils like wildfire.

Pinebreeze felt her blood rise to her face. "No one has really...caught my eye yet" she said bashfully as she looked at the ground. Pinebreeze knew he was teasing but it made her more embarrassed to think that he had asked her that.

"Yeah..." Achazia mumbled. She was thinking about her mother again. Black she-cat with a stump of a tail just like her. Thinking about how happy she would be to see Achazia join a a group of cats.

Pinebreeze smiled back at Falcongaze. He was kind of handsome, that was for sure but she had no idea how she felt about him. All she did know was it feel like he was radiating a comforting warmth that made her want to stay near him and never leave. Pinebreeze looked at Falcongaze again and opened her mouth to tell him this but promptly shut it. "He will think I am crazy or I am some tom-obsessed she-cat" she thought to herself.

If anyone of the many Percy Jackson fans reads the Red Pyramid this is an interesting fact...
They hint at there being the Greek gods in Manhattan...

"Yeah..." Pinebreeze trailed off. She didn't want to part with Falcongaze her heart thrummed as she came up with an insane idea. Putting that idea into motion she looked at Falcongaze, inhaled deeply and began to speak slowly "Falcongaze...um...I know that this may sound a bit crazy and insane but...I think I am in love with you..." Now she felt humiliated. Compared to this, tripping and falling into a giant heap of mud was nothing. She looked down ears pulled slightly back with humiliation and regret. She didn't even bother to look for signs of a bad reaction.

Pinebreeze looked up sharply at Falcongaze's reaction. She could hear his unsureness in his voice. "I...I...I...I am sorry..." she said quivering "I'm sorry I just..." she couldn't even bear to explain. She looked away from Falcongaze to try and hide her wide-eyed fear and pain, and muttered just loud enough for him to hear "...You don't have to if you don't want to...it is your choice to make...not mine" There was a dull ache in her chest, like a weight pressing down on her, she wondered to herself "Is this what heartbreak is...or is it something else"

Pinebreeze looked at Falcongaze and saw the truth written in his face. She had millions of things she wanted to say to Falcongaze that could be translated into words that he could understand. She rubbed up against Falcongaze, getting as close as she could to him. Pinebreeze's heart thrummed a violent beat of pleasure and she added to that beat a deep purr of contentment.
