She was puzzled by his answer,but didn't say anything else.she heard him leave,it was seconds before she was out like a light. her dreams were troubled.

Ash cried in her sleep,horrible memories replaying in her dreams

She woke up with a small scream.terrified out of her sleep.she curled up in a ball crying.

She whimpered,hiding her face in his chest.after a while she quieted down,falling asleep in his arms.

Ash began to stir,she was vaguely aware of being very warm and of arms around her.or at least that's what it felt like.she yawned.

She froze.'Wait a minute!Who is this?!'she thought frantically,nearly forgetting she'd been rescued.

"Yeah."she replied with a yawn and stretched,almost hitting Jeff's head.

Before she could reply there was the shrill sound of a phone ringing.she yelped in surprise

Masky's voice answered Jeff .there were crashing noises and the sound of Jane cursing her head off."Jeff,you need to get over here...you'll understand when you get here."there was another loud crash and it sounded like the phone was thrown before it broke.

Ash turned her head in his direction as she sat up,her hair sticking up in some places."Yeah sure,and to be honest I don't want to be alone..."she frowned hoping she'd said that right.

When they got there the door looked to be brOken ,sagging on its hinges,jane had a black eye ((lolz)) and a few scratches.masky was in a little better condition,black feathers littered the ground.

"Remember that girl you were with four years ago,the one who everyone beleived was dead. Because she went missing?well ...we found her and she kicked our asses."masky said.he looKed up at the roof at a figure who was sitting on the roof,black wings pulled tight around her body,obscuring her face.though two black eyes with glowing blue pupils could be seen."I found her out wondering about half dead on her feet jeff.whatever got a hold of her did a number on her"

The girl's wings opened. And she stood.((it's shard.))

Her now black eyes narrowed,she frowned.the scars across her shoulder blade showing"j-Jeff?"

Shard shivered shaking her head.she closed her eyes and whimpered as she was shocked by a little mechanical box implanted between her wings.her eyes opened and her pupils were glowing red,her demeanor changed in an instant,suddenly she seemed more dangerous.
Ash sensed something,something very bad very quick."something's wrong.."she said to masky.
"Shit!"masky shouted,taking cover.jane oddly enough realized the danger and got Ash out of harms way.
Shard launched at Jeff,her wings making her quicker than normal.

shard snarled as he didn't catch her but one of her wings,pulling it when he did. but she couldn't turn and attack him with him holding it.

She tried to flap her wing to knock him off.

she struggled against him,unnatural rage pouring from her.

"On it!"Masky called,dashing out with some rope.
Shard hissed and tried to throw herself backwards,to knock jeff off her back.Ash heard the commotion and was worried,her face betrayed her emotions.
