Nightcall had seen the look spread across Silverstar's features and knew that the same thought had crossed her mind. The she-cat loner had reminded her of Cottonflight. And she did to Nightcall too, making the breath hitch in her throat in grief and sadness. It was too soon. She just pointed her head down, tucked her tail in, and walked into the small shelter. She sat under a tree, but didn't feel sleepy at all. She didn't feel hungry but it wasn't due to the herbs that she had been given earlier.

Lunakit nodded, but couldn't talk very well. The coughing had quieted but it had left her dizzy and exhausted. She stood up shakely to follow Ringkit.
