Parvati had worried so much about the Games that she felt noncaring toward them anymore. She decided she would try and win or if not, she would except her fate and die with it. She sank down into a little ball on the floor of her room and didn't bother sleeping on her luxurious bed. She couldn't accept gifts from the Capitol.

Nico sighed and wandered around, not being able to sleep. He climbed the stairs to the roof of the Training Center and gazed out over the ugly candy-colored city, loathing his sickeningly sweet surroundings. He didn't even attempt to jump because he knew his life was something only the Capitol could take away.

Parvati hadn't slept much, but she was ready for the day. She had already known that she needed very little sleep, so she'd use that to her advantage in the arena.

Blaze rolled out of bed and went down to the dining room and ordered a small breakfast. He hastily ate and washed down the pancake with some orange juice and took a shower.

OOc; Sorry I wasn't on. I caught the Flu, and apparently my mom is super dumb so she thought it was a cold, and 2 weeks later I finally go to the hospitol >:( I'll just start playing Cato. Thanks for rp-ing him.

Ic; Cato looked down at his hand, which wre covered in blisters, from holding his sword so tightly. That Thresh, he was tough, but he would die.

Glimmer paused before answering, "I think we should go to the lake, like Clove said, and wait till the Gamemakers make them come to us." She yawned hugely and announced she was going to sleep. Sprawled out on her stomach and using a backpack as a pillow, Glimmer fell into a deep sleep.

Clove looked at Glimmer, who was sleeping so soundly, then back at Cato. "I'm the least wounded and I'm not tired. I'll stay on gaurd and alert you if anything suspicious happens," she said, truthfully.

Clove spat on the ground and said, "'Bout time. We just fought this huge battle with a few of our enemies and Glimmer was nearly killed and yet you were about to spear me." Clove rolled her eyes at him. "Get in the cave. I'm on gaurd duty."

Glimmer awoke at the sound of her district partner's sigh of relief and Clove's scathing tone. She smiled gleefully now. They would outnumber their rivals when they met again.

Parvati shot some more arrows at her targets and really enjoyed the archery station. Shooting the arrows almost made her forget about the arena that she would most likely die in.

Nico went to camouflage, which he was only okay at . . . again. He began to worry that if he didn't find his strengths soon, not only would he get a bad score from the Gamemakers, but he would have a harder time in the Games.

Clove jumped at the unexpected cannon. She sighed after realizing that it meant one less tribute to deal with. Hopefully it had been either Rue, Sage, or Thresh. She glanced back into the cave just to make sure that Glimmer's wounds hadn't killed her, but the District 1 girl was breathing steadily. She noticed Cato, sitting up and not even pretending to sleep. "You can't sleep either?" Clove asked.

Glimmer was curled up next to Marvel's warm, sleeping figure, not even stirring at the noise of the cannon.

Clove gave Cato a small half-smile and accepted the apple. "Thanks, but I'll help you anyway. Our enemies might be planning to surprise attack us, so the more alert we are, the better. We don't know who or what killed the other tribute and we can't let that thing be the cause of our own deaths." She bit into the ripe apple and chewed as quietly as possible, wary of waking her allies.

Glimmer slept on the cold cave floor, oblivious to Cato's and Clove's conversation.

Clove desprately wanted to believe Cato's words, but found it was an impossible task for her. "What if one of us really does get killed, though? Or if we are the final two and refuse to kill each other, surely the Gamemakers will . . ." Clove trailed off, being unable to face that horror. She pictured her own dead body, wounded and bloody, in her mind. Then, unwillingly, the human corpse changed to Cato's, eyes staring vacantly, warm hands cold and limp, his voice ceased forever. Clove shook her head to clear the image and fought off any tears that had managed to be triggered. Why couldn't she be as confident as Cato? Because she was too weak.

Bloodclaw came back from his cave after his vision cleared a little more.. He darted around Ravensong seeing that she was busy attacking emberpaw he grabbed brightkit and dug his claws into the front of her neck holding her captive as he said "Ravensong if you so dare to hurt Ember paw any further or take a step closer to me ( he gestured to the kit) than she will go!"

Emberpaw sighed. "Thanks, Bloodclaw, but we will eventually have to kill her. . . no one else will unless the Gamemakers decide to do so. So I guess we're officially allies now?"

Parvati's stylist walked into the room with a knee-length frilly orange dress with red ribbon. Her long golden brown hair was pulled back in elegant twists on top of her head. She slid into her outfit and was surprised by how comfortable and soft it felt. She put on some matching flats and admired herself in the mirror.

Blaze was given a simple collared shirt with long black pants. It may have been a rather casual choice, but he still looked nice. His messy dark brown hair was combed out until it eventually lay flat. Blaze really disliked getting dressed up, but it was only for a night and it would probably be his last time ever.
