The semester's finally over, so I have more time than ever to write! I'm looking to start an advanced, private gxg thread. I'm currently only interested/not interested in the following:

    Some Things About Me:

    - I ask for advanced writing (I'm fine with at least three paragraphs per post, minimum.)

    - I am capable of writing several paragraphs per post, though, and will usually do my best to match yours provided I have the muse.

    - I'm also happy to hear any ideas/plots you might have.

    - In terms of availability, I'll be reasonably able to write a reply at least once per day.

    - I use realistic face claims and would prefer you do the same!

    - I'm happy to chat! I like getting to know RP partners!

Feel free to PM me or reply here if interested!

EDIT: Drekarys Captain Asgeir is done! Please let me know if there is anything I need to change or should add in!

Hey, Juby! If you're still looking for more gxg rp, I'd be down for some slice of life and horror! Just got done with exams myself and am relieved + craving the gay.

    [Aaand we're back!]

Sol briefly froze when she heard Owen step into the house and question Ashley. Small beads of sweat began to collect on the wolf's forehead as she willed herself to work harder and faster at picking up stray tufts of fur decorating Owen's bed. Sol had also made sure to hide the handheld vacuum cleaner beneath the bed. After several more long, agonizing seconds of meticulously purging the bedcovers of fur, Sol sat back and inspected her work one last time. All right. The wolf sighed, quietly. That looks... fine, I think.

Sol's right ear twitched. From the sound of it, Ashley wasn't exactly doing an Oscar-worthy job at keeping Owen at bay. Sol hadn't been paying much attention to their conversation, but she heard just enough of it to tell that Owen detected something was off. Finally able to come to her girlfriend's defense, Sol stepped out of Owen's room and quietly shut the bedroom door behind her.

"Hey, Owen!" Sol sheepishly started, as she looked towards the neko and the human. She couldn't help but blink a little when she caught a glimpse of Ashley's eyes momentarily shift to a red color. Didn't Ashley say something about that happening whenever she... sinned?

Awesome! I admittedly don't have a plot idea in mind at the moment. Is there anything you've been itching to write in particular pertaining to those themes? (I'll try to think of something in the meantime!)

[Lol, read all of it last night and I was shook as to how many pages we wrote!]

As Sol quietly listened to Owen, she crossed the room and plopped down onto the couch. The situation had suddenly become much more tense than the wolf had expected: turning her head to the kitchen, Sol noted that Ashley's sheepish facade had suddenly given away to one that was entirely blank. She good? She thought, furrowing her dark brows in confusion and concern. After a moment's worth of cogitation and studying her girlfriend's body language, it became clear to her. She's ashamed about the fire, I'm guessing. Sol thought, a twinge of guilt biting at her chest. She recalled that she too had been unsettled by Ashley's demonic prowess.

Having put the current situation together, Sol blinked once more before looking back at Owen. Had Owen been anyone else and not the way he was - that is, someone so open-minded and gentle - Sol wouldn't have given a damn about Owen's apparent grief over accusations against his crush. In fact, her initial instinct was to tell Owen to forget about what she and Ashley had said about Nico altogether. If Owen insisted on trusting Nico's words, that was his decision and his hill to die on.

"...so, Owen. Here's the thing," Sol started, scratching her ear as she looked into Owen's eyes. Her gaze was unsteady. She was more uncertain as to how to proceed than she was miffed with Owen's hesitation in believing them. It also took a great amount of effort on her part to refrain from throwing the insult "horny idiot" into the conversation. "it's true. All of it. The burning down the house thing was... self-defense. I also broke his window with my hatchet." Sol shrugged, trying to hide her pride at the fact that they had essentially vandalized Nico's home.

Hold on a second! The wolf's eyes widened briefly. She looked back at Ashley. "Hey, Ashley. Did the shards of glass happen to scratch you anywhere when I smashed in that jerk's window?"

"Into it?" Sol echoed in surprise. Whatever irritation she held against Owen evaporated away and was quickly replaced with shock. She was astonished by how well Owen had taken the entire thing, and she quite honestly respected it. The wolf was capricious, temperamental, and Owen's aloof behavior was certainly alien to her.

Sol sat back further into the couch and crossed her arms. She rose an eyebrow at Owen. "Well, as long as you're into it in..." She fell silent for a moment, struggling to find the right words. "In a platonic way, yeah?" She smiled rather teasingly, canines glinting. It was a meek attempt at diffusing the situation further. Sol knew that Owen had already came out to both of them as being gay.

As she spoke, she looked to the scythe lying against the wall. It was difficult to really ignore the seemingly outlandish thing, and the ornate weapon had spawned more questions than answers. Can't believe someone actually used that thing to slice Owen up, Sol thought. Kind of shitty of them to hurt such a chill man. She recalled that Owen put a name to his assailant, though she couldn't quite remember their name. What was it - something... Frazzy? On top of that, Ashley said the guy was her father?

The wolf's attention now rested nearly entirely on the scythe. She stared at it for several moments, admiring its cruelly curved, razor-sharp edge. Without a word, Sol stood and approached the scythe. She rested her hand on its shaft before looking back at Owen. "Just wondering, why do you keep this thing around if it cut you up?" She asked.

tracking! may i reserve a spot for a woman?

Ah, happy to be in! Super excited for this! dolly. Comforting to hear that we're in the same boat, haha! God, what an awesome game though. Even though it's been a couple year since I played it, I'll never forget just how good it was and how the characters made me feel. Super excited there's an RP for it now! ;)

I also love the idea of detailing character relations! I'm open to pretty much any and all, whether it be adoptive siblings, bio siblings, etc.

Also, I have a discord! I'd be happy to join in on one for this RP. Question about character forms, though remmutt : I have a character in her 20s who I think would fit perfectly for a setting such as this, though I never got to really RP her since the thread she was in died out. Would it be all right with you if I used her here? (I'll make the necessary tweaks to her character to assimilate her into the RP/have better chemistry with existing characters here, ofc)

And I love Leander! I love his name and his snarkiness aaah

remmutt Awesome! Thanks for understanding. And I got the discord link <3

And here she is! I might tweak some things/add more later, but this is somewhat rough idea for my character. I hope this is okay!

    [headcanons/other]

    - octavia was brought up as a medical specialist within her quarantine zone. she is adept at administering care to the sick and injured, though the hardest thing for her to do will always be calling it quits when an infected individual has gone past the point of no return.

    - formerly known to some as "nurse" tavie within her community

    - in whatever free time she has, she enjoys writing and telling stories of what life what must have been like before the outbreak

    - primary weapon against the infected is really anything she can get her hands on, though she tries to stay away from dangerous encounters in the first place

    - soft-spoken yet articulate

    - has a huge soft spot for children

    - hoards medical supplies and resources in general

    - puts a decent amount of work into her appearance, but isn't obsessed with it

    - it takes a lot to anger her. but when she's mad, she's screams, shouts, cries, and is controlling

    - too loyal for her own good

    - genuinely interested in others and wants to get to know them

    - honestly extremely absent-minded and constantly forgets things all the time

    - very easily intimidated by anyone who looks even moderately threatening. tries to befriend them anyway
