Hawkshot looked at Goldenwing and smiled quirkily.

Moonstalker nodded and leaped to the ground. He broad, dark figure glided across the camp.

Icewillow decided to take a brisk walk before heading out.

He looked over at his shoulder at the cats surrounding them. "I swear."

"No, no," Hawkshot said, averting his eyes. "You just looked so confident. I liked that." He ended by returning the smile.

ic: Moonstalker found a large, shady tree to take a nap under.

Hawkpaw stepped down and turned toward the crowd. For once, he felt like he actually did something instead of lay on his back and watch the clouds drift on by. Ironic that he could barely see the cloud of gloom hovering lowly over the camp. The new apprentice searched the party of cats for Ambersky, still trying to push his incident with Rosekit out of his mind.

Hawkshot snorted and nuzzled Goldenwing's head. "Likewise," he replied gently. "But you know," He continued. "If you still wanted me to lead.." His voice trailed off sarcasticly.

"O-Oh.. Good gracious, Miss Lexa, are you alright?" Penelope fretted.

Hawkpaw turned to Skykit and smiled. At least she looks happy, he thought.

Hawkpaw grinned at the new apprentices. He was excited for all of them. For once, he didn't feel like the runt.

Moonstalker awoke and yawned fearsomely. He gazed around the area and padded toward Sunshimmer.

Icewillow giggled when she saw the kits running around. I miss those days.. she thought and began to groom herself.

Hawkshot nodded his head triumphantly and stepped forward. His dark eyes widened at the sight of how large and empty the forest was. All you could see was a faint path, a few broken logs, and trees that seemed to go up forever. He shrugged off his nervousness and stepped back. "You know," he began. "I have been known to change my mind.." He gazed back up to the sky as his new-found confidence started to shrink.

Moonstalker smiled, though it was hard to see. He liked seeing the kits have fun.

Icewillow finished cleaning herself and went to find a nice spot to cool herself down.

"No, no. I just.." The dark tabby glanced at the forest floor and huffed. "I'm just kinda nervous. I mean, just look at this place. It's huge. I'll stand by your side all the way, but first," he looked around once more, a bit of laughter hinted in his voice. "We need to figure out which way we're takin'."

Hawkpaw nodded and walked to Ambersky.

Hawkshot smirked. "That'd probably be best since that run-in with the badger."
