It was a fight with a rouge that put Hawktail in the condition she is in now. The black-and-white she was once beautiful, but a tussel with a wilder cat gave her many scars to remember. Noow you can barely recognize her. Hawktail scorns herself, and has even considered leaving the clan in her humiliation. What she needs is some cat to love her. Will someone sweet tell her she is beautiful?

Peachfur, a beautiful cream she, crouched in the undergrowth, tail low. She had scented mouse. She suddenly leaped, swiftly dealing a killing bite to the neck. Peachfur began to make her way to ThunderClan camp, when she smelled something else than the fresh meat held tightly in her grasp. Loner! Oh, no! She raced back, but on the way, bumped straight into him-- literally. Peachfur had been running, looking over her shoulder, when crashing into his flank. She jumped up, growling through her burden. Then she saw two other she cats standing close to him. Peachfur's eyes flashed. She wasn't going to give up her prey to some mangy loners. Then she stared straight into the tom's eyes defiantly. They were warm. Kind. Peachfur shook the thought away, dropped the fresh-kill behind her protectively and snarled. Get off ThunderClan territory! she spat. You are tresspassing.

Aquagaze heard Acornclaw's voice, and without thinking, launched herself across the river, trying to reach him. She was swept away in the current, mewing helplessly like a kit without it's mother. Acornclaw... help me...
