"There you are!" Hawkflight growled. "We'd better get back to the twoleg thing; it's freezing cold!"

Silverflash padded into the warriors' den and settled in some moss. She waited for Brackenpelt to finish speaking with Jadestar; Silverflash wanted to speak with the leader about this cat aswell.

"Of course! You are my apprentice after all," Burrclaw meowed. "Wishpaw, I'll teach you too."

"Oh, nothing. I'll tell you about it later." Silverflash mewed.

Hawkflight hurried after Blossompetal and Twilightpaw, his brown pelt turned black with water soaked in his fur.

Embershade suddenly heard a scuffling noise in the lush green grass. Her ears immediately flicked towards the noise. As she squatted down and creeped towards the noise, she peered through the blades of grass to see a squirrel eating an acorn. She creeped a little closer then leapt at it, quick as lightning, and before it could escape, she killed it with a single bite. She got up and ruffled her fur, then dug a hole and threw it in.
"We'll keep all the prey here until we return to camp," she meowed.

"Uh, we'll have to practice your hunting more later, Lionpaw..." Embershade meowed.

Hawkflight agreed. They could always just leave Mistpelt to die.

Silverflash noticed that Jadestar and brackenpelt were finished speaking.

Hawkflight hissed at the dog as he suddenly noticed there were many dogs.

"I'm Silverflash," Silverflash mewed. "Brackenpelt is the tortoiseshell she-cat over there." She pointed towards Brackenpelt with her tail and padded up to her.
"Jadestar says we have to go on a patrol," Silverflash meowed to Brackenpelt.

"Good catch," Embershade mewed. "Let's continue hunting further in the forest." She flicked her tail toward the thick undergrowth further in the territory.

Silverflash followed Brackenpelt and Firepelt out of the camp.

IC: "We'd better fight them off," Hawkflight meowed and hissed at the dogs.

Eshade glanced over her shoulder. "Lionpaw, come on. We're going farther into the forest,"

"Good job," Arrowripper grunted. "Now lets find some real prey to catch."

Hawkflight growled. "I'm not going to just run away from these flea-ridden brutes!"

Silverflash padded into the woods with Firepelt and Brackenpelt. She sniffed the air for any signs of prey.

Hawkflight leaped onto the dog that had rolled over on Blossompetal. He sank his claws into its fur. It screeched and turned on him.
"These sure look like wild dogs!" he growled at the dog and backed away from it.
