"Can I take it that you just love to make people mad? Considering all the fights you seem to have been in," Chase snorted. Grey would make an interesting friend.

"Show off!" Cadie called as she shook her dripping hair out.

"I'm honestly impressed. Back in Paris, everyone was so annoyingly NICE," Chase grinned. " I was the school freak- obviously." She gestured to her short, wild hair and odd outfit.

Recap? Sorry, I forgot I didn't have Internet up in Minnesota... I'll be sorta inactive for a few more days.

Chase grinned back, then spotted her new weapon. They'd just been paired before the start of the day, and she didn't know much about her except her name. "Matti?" She called heisintatly.

Rider coughed. "So... What do you people do around here?"

"Bye Serena, see you later!" Chase called after her friend. "Grey, do you know Matti?"

Chase grinned. "Okay, Tough Guy. What else can you show me? Where's the food?"

"A game," Rider agreed. "What kind of games do you like to play, Mini?"

"Fair enough. Show me the way to paradise!" Chase giggled.

"A girl's gotta eat," Chase shrugged. She'd skipped breakfast because she thought she'd be late for school. Big mistake.

"People these days," Phoenix shook her head, and pulled scritch back into her alley, praying no one had seen them.

"Um, okay. Who else?" Rider asked everyone else.

"Okay, okay. What else should I know how to find?" Chase asked. She returned Matti's grin and decided she liked her new home a lot.

"Um... Sometimes?" Chase looked sheepishly at the ground. "I skipped a lot. But I made sure I had A's in every class!" Then she heard Matti. "Missions already? You think we can do it?"

"Well, that sounds promising. This sounds like a really fun place to live!" Rider snapped. Then she blushed bright red, and turned around. "Oh my god, I am SO sorry. I don't even know why I just said that!"

"Thanks for the vote of confidence! Go ahead, I'll check up on you later, to make sure nothing's broken," Chase pushed him gently towards the nurse. "Let's go get some souls, Matti!"

"Intresting," Chase agreed with a grin. "Lead the, Matti."

"Which one?" Chase wondered. "What do you think Matti?"

"Okay," rider smiled shakily.
