Her mother was a french immigrant who fell in love with a influential businessman. The man entertained the idea for a while, but dumped her on the streets shortly afterward. By this time She was pregnant. She had the child and they lived until the child was 10 - it was at this age where the mother died. Lorena lived on the street until she was 16 - she stole from houses and pawned out jewels in order to pay for food and meager accommodation. It was then her father took her in - not out of kindness but rather greed. He had heard on her thieving escapades and decided to use her talent in order to gain more wealth. So she broke into competitors homes and stole prized possessions which were either pawned off or blackmailed for more money. She recruited by the Society in order to steal documents.

Rena is an intelligent person. She is brave and strong-willed, and is incredibly caring. While she is generally warm, kind and understanding, Rena can sometimes be very stubborn. She is also immensely curious and intensely determined when she decides to be. She can be quite aggressive.

As a child his parents abandoned him, He was Hungry and alone. Clarice took him in out of what he thought was kindness. She gave him clothing and food. She trained him in manners.
