Chestnutbreeze limped after Fodder. It was surprising how quickly she'd managed to get up stairs just to stop to collect more things from Rye. Chestnutbreeze walked into the Master's Bedroom and smilied. Fodder was already asleep. He realised how cold it was. Luckily, the Mansion cats knew how to turn the radiator on and off. He jumped up and pressed the red button by the swirly knob. It seemed well enough. It would take a small while for the radiator to warm up. He went and cuddled up to his mate. She was the only queen here and needed her warmth.
Spelt looked down from the Greid Stone. She knew that these cats would have to prepere better incase another attack like this one happened. He had to ask Rye. If he didn't sooner or later, she'd have to ask him. "Rye," he began. "Are you willing to stay with the Paradise Mansion?" Spelt wanted to be sure that this cat joined. He couldn't force her to join but wanted to have her in. She was kind enough to help Fodder and Chestnutbreeze get back on their feet. Cat by the fence on the other hand... needed to come over first. The cat must have been in the Japanese Strolling Garden before making it here. It was strange for the cat to have done all that. Maybe the guards were getting lazy. He could know how the rogues got in but one kittypet... they would have caught it and returned it to it's housefolk

Zjen-Zjen watched the kit's stammering. This was to show he probably would dart off if he were caple. Zjen-Zjen was pleased to have been chose secondary. I meant she got the job of killing toms every moon. She glanced at Duke. She didn't know why Saruh had fallen for him so easily. It would be pain having kits when they hadn't even settled yet.
-
Spelt smiled. "Cats of the Paradise Mansion," he called loud enough for Fodder and Chestnutbreeze to hear. "I've called you here today to hear and witness a ceremony." Spelt's head face the sky. "May our former Lead Cat, Rice Grain, and former Healer Cat, Legume, please look down from Heaven and accept Rye into our humble family." Spelt grinned again as he had to say, yet more, traditional words. "Cats of The Paradise Mansion, You are also here today to hear and witness Rye, our family member who has followed the rules and helped keep peace among the Mansion." Spelt looked back into the sky. "May Legume, the former Healer Cat, look down from Heaven onto Rye, as I appoint her as Healer Cat of the Paradise Mansion."
-
Spelt smiled. He looked over at fields in the distance. The fields were growing strong. Spelt knew that field would soon be a part of the Mansion's ground soon. It was a bit like how Rye was joining the family. Hopefully, she wouldn't get any hostile faces until she'd found a mate. Most Healer Cats prefered not to have one. He thought about what'd happen if he had his own mate. Kits and more to the family. It'd be a great idea. There weren't any cats who he was interested in but he seemed to growing quickly fond of Rye. It seemed strange... but then she was part of the family now and that would be natural.
Chestnutbreeze smiled when he heard Spelt's announcement. It was obvious that Spelt'd choose Rye for this role. It seemed rather quick but Spelt needed all the help he could get.
-
Shoujo Neko watched the kits swiping their paws around. "You're where I live, I was wondering what this racket was about." she mewed with a sigh.
-
Spelt blushed under his red fur. He decided it was time to distract himself from this. "Rye, I'll show you to the Study Room. It has all the herbs there. It has easy accsess to the queens and elders." Spelt flicked his tail towards the Mansion. "Come on, I'll show you." he dashed across the garden and waited by the door. He hoped thart the rest of the cats would be back soon. "I'll come back and go on a hunting patrol, we're running short of prey!" Spelt called back to Nyna.
-
Heartpaw tumbled into the apprentice den. She'd caught this huge hare that was nearly as big as her. She couldn't belive how well he was progressing even with World's Grouchiest Mentor. She was looking forward to a new mentor, even though he was good. "Ohayoo!" she greeted.
-
Rainbowhearted smiled at how her kits were growing. She sighed knowing they'll be to-bes very shortly and they'd start to spread way from her.
-
Spelt finnaly arrived by the Greid Stone again. "Hello Kimi, what brings you here?" Spelt asked. He knew he'd have to hurry with the patrol but he needed to inspect this kittypet. "Come on you two, I need to begin the patrol." It felt normal guiding patrols being former Second Cat but it was strange not turning to Rice Grain with news. "We'll start in the Japanese Tea Garden. They'll be plenty of places to go to there. It's time the squirrels came out often so we'll have plenty of catch." Spelt turned around. "Kimi, you ought to come with us." he said flicking his tail at the newcomer.
He jumped over the fence into the Japanese Strolling Garden. The lake seemed vibrant and lively, full of fish and the odd frog. "We could stop by the lake for some fish later, but we'll have to hurry, Fodder might be in labour soon, she's been having throbs." Spelt was glad he'd left Rye there. She'd be able to tend to her if anything happened.
-
Blinding Terror had an idea. All the other kits played around in the Nursey apart fro them. "Tag!" he meowed going to swat Earthkit.
-
So, we've enrolled our Medicine Cat but I haven't heard from Skye :(
-
"Eh..." Heartpaw was confused at Orangepaw's outburst.

Astrologyclaw would usually shake someone off without much thought. She'd done most things she'd wanted to do for now. At 14 moons, named warrior after so long. It ws really her own damn fault.
-
Spelt nodded in agreement. It would be strange if anything happened. They reached the Kaikaru-en Garden. "We could stop for some fruit and catch. Rye'll be pleased to have more stock." Weasels were a favourite of Spelt's. He could smell one by a sakura tree. He crouched down and went to stalk it. The weasels always fought back if they noticed you so they needed more sneakiness and a clear bite on the throat.
Spelt dived towards the weasel and bit it's shoulder. That wasn't enough to kill it. The weasel was a lot bigger up close, probably a male. It dived towards Spelt and scratched his hind leg. Spelt didn't give up. He clawed it's face to blind it then went for a neck bite. Spelt dragged the weasel back. "We could get a sevant to cook this for us." Spelt smiled. When the servants cooked food, it tasted nice but different. Spelt buried it for later.
-
Astrologyclaw shook her head. She had plenty of time left to do what se needed to do. Just a quick chat shouldn't hurt. She knew she couldn't go out of her way for nothing. She sighed faintly. "Freshkill..." she muttered. It almost felt like she was in link with someone somehow. She strolled over to the freshkill pile and taken out a rabbit. She'd killed her siblings and she'd been grouchy ever since. She thought hard about it. She needed to finish off where she'd started. She dashed off for ShadowClan territory.
-
Zjen-Zjen looked at the site. "Should we get this one" -looks at Wool- "to collect some food?"
-
The angry WindClan she-cat stomped into ShadowClan territory. She wanted to speak to Winterstar, not later but now. "Winterstar!" she spat going straight up to the leader. I've seen some of your manky warriors strolling around in our territory far too often!" Astrologyclaw's face had pure despise written all over it.
-
"Don't accuse WindClan of even going near your filthy pelts!" Astrologyclaw spat. "See what damage you b******* cause!"
-
Fodder awoke very tiredly. Her stomach was aching badly, not quite maternity pain but like when you've eaten bad food. "Chestnutbreeze, I'll be back in a second." She shook herself lightly so she didn't start her leg off and strolled down the stairs. Fodder padded into the kitchen. Her nostrils filled with scent of Turkey, Mint and Cherry. She noticed the housefolk had left some gourmet food for them. "Nice!" she cheered quickening up the pace slightly. She stopped herself when the stomach ache got worse. "Ai-ai..." she whinced. Getting slowly back onto her feet, Fodder walked into the Verandah.
Fodder lay down on the bench, making sure it didn't swing. "Rye!" she groaned painfully. She knew she'd collapse if she walked all the way.
-
"We excuse me if you can't keep your behinds in your own territory! This season I've smelt 6 lots of your skanky selves in our territory!" Astrologyclaw was well ready to fight.
