Name: Aria
Gender: Female
Species: Dark Elf/Drow
Class: Rouge
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Outfit:
Family: She has an older brother but she hasn't seen him in years and thinks he's dead.
Personality: Aria has one loyalty and one alone, herself. She doesn't really care whom she has to screw over to get what she believes she deserves. Her freedom and needs come before anyone else and believe that the world is all about luck rather then fate. She will however avoid confrontation if she can and won't go out of her way to hurt people but situation like so tend to follow her. She acts completely at random and can be unpredictable. She does whatever whims come to her.
She has several bad habits as well. Aria acts on her whims and loves taking risks especially with people. Pushing her luck to far and causing fights or other chaos. People mistrust her and say she's unreliable, untrustworthy, and a lowly criminal. That's not completely true. A criminal yes but she will finish whatever job she was paid to do. Even when the risks become high she will still finish it, she never stops half way. Once she dedicates she goes through, though she may "ask" for more payment. Course that's providing she agrees to work with you.
Money is a good start but she likes to work for the winning side. IF she doesn't think you have any chance of success she will keep out. She has no issue killing an unarmed foe or torturing someone if it will benefit her or her happiness. Aria does have standards however. She wont kill an innocence and if it's in her best interest will help the needy.
Her pride can get in her way but at the same time is a positive trait. She pursues her own freedom and does what brings her pleasure and freedom. Aria knows when to quite however. She will walk away from a fight if she thinks she will loose, or just fight dirty. The greatest dishonor to her is being taken prisoner or surrendering.
She refuses to allow herself to be captured and will never surrender. With all her bad qualities and her lack of loyalties and friends there is one important things about her that few know. Though she rarely meets people she likes if she does she can bond strongly with someone.
Weapon Of Choice/Tools: Aria's arsenal is pretty typical for someone in her line of work. Hidden on the under part of her gauntlets are a pair of mini crossbows to give her some range like the ones above. She also is a dual wielder so she carries a long sword on her back but typically prefers her daggers or crossbows over her sword. Also hidden inside her cloak are a pair of daggers. Her curved daggers are her favorite weapon being how up close and personal they are.
She does keep a third dagger in her right boot incase of emergencies but that a rare occurrence with Aria. Inside her cloak pockets she keeps a set of lock picking tools and smoke bombs, the thieves toolkit.
Strengths (Min of 4-6): As a rouge Aria is golden tongue golden fingers. She has remarkable slight of hand and deception. In short she's a very good liar. If that fails stealth is her third skill. What kind of thief would she be if she could sneak around quietly. Another useful skill she has is her acrobats. She may not be strong but she is flexible and can climb and move.
Weaknesses (Min of 4-6): With all her skills she has quite a few faults to add. Aria is flexible and good with her daggers but she isn't very strong. She can really take a hit and often avoids open combat due to the fact she can be more easily over powered. She sometimes can get in over her head too. She may be good at lying but she isn't exactly good with words.
She has a tendency to piss people off and push her enemies a bit to far and wined up in bad situations. Another weakness of hers that may not be to surprising is that she can't resist shiny object like golds, jewels, or gems. A weakness that once again gets her into trouble. People don't trust her. This isn't necessarily because of her job occupation but that people simply mistrust her naturally because She is a dark elf and in reverse she doesn't trust others.
Motivation(s) For Joining Quest: Her reason's are simple, Money. Aria does what's best for number one and if that means helping a lost prince then so be it. With the Fenix in charge the people suffer from lack of money to buy what they need to survive which means she's also loosing business. (Plus she was promised she could keep what she "Earns" along the way)
Bio: Like everyone who ends up in her line of work she has her share of problems. Aria like most of her kind hail from Fenix. She grew up in a small village with her older brother. At a young age her parents died. Her Mother died of illness first then the fallowing year her father was killed by Fenix soldiers after he tried to protect an old traveler being harassed by them. With both parents gone it was up to her brother and herself to keep each other alive.
While her brother found work she took a different path. She discovered her talent as a criminal and so she started her life as a rouge. It was going well for a while but when her brother found out he disapproved. She agreed to end her criminal ways and try and find a real life and she did for a short time. She had already developed a reputation and was approached for a huge job.
Aria just couldn't help herself and agreed. The job however went south. With the job ending in failure her employers want her life as forfeit or her brother's. She needed to get out of town and so begged her brother to go with her. He naturally was upset that she went back on her word and refused to follow her.
This was her mistake to bear and disowned her. With her only family wanting nothing to do with her and the entire criminal underbelly now after her she left her home village and Fenix all together. She found her way to Territhia where business was good for someone of her skills. People wanted something stolen or someone gone she would take care of it for the right price. Since she left she never heard from her brother and assumes he died after she left but still refuses to go back incase her former employers are still looking for her.
During the Fenix take over of Territhia business was good for a short time. The Soldiers would ask her for a job and she even did the occasional job for the Fenix royalty but the boom wore off after words. She made most of her earning gambling or stealing from whomever had the most or just pissed her off. Aria was settling for a night in a tavern when the Prince and his Knight guardian showed up. The prince seemed to have seen her "working" and tried to enlist her help with his quest.
At first she laughed and rejected him but after hearing his reasoning and speech decided it may be in her best interest.
Other (Plot idea's/questions): Figure the story can start with the prince and knight finding all the members of the group. that was we can start quickly.
