OOC: That's fine. truthfully I've been busy with school and work lately anyway. glad your better!

IC: Ara smiled a little as the cat pounced on the grass near her. It was admittedly cute. For a while she was unaware of Angel hiding behind the tree but that quickly changed.
It's hard not to notice when someone suddenly falls face first into the ground. 'I guess a little lone time was a bit much to ask for..'
Ara watched as Kori ran off to the man who had just ate a mouth full of dirt. She had the suspension he may have been hiding, or spying, on her.
Since he's already here and she's now very much aware of his presences she might as well figure out if he's a possible threat.
With a deep slightly irritated sigh Ara stood from her spot by the tree. She didn't want him to try and run before she could chat with him so she made use of her quick speed to almost appear beside him. She was still a couple feet away, crouched down but was within arms reach of him. As he slowly turned toward her direction she spoke in a calm but sarcastic tone.
"Hasn't anyone ever told you to announce yourself before 'dropping' by?" She made sure to empathizes the dropping part, after all he did literally drop in.

OOC:Finally someone who understands! ~_~ And yes. It's been sooooo long since I've seen it though. Good classic from the same time period though. It was just a great show. (Also sorry for late response, got busy again.)

IC: Gideon walked down the dark streets alone. Currently it was crowed and busy, not surprising for a Saturday night. All around him he could hear and see people laughing and just being merry.
Wish he could say the same. Life for him hasn't been as fortunate as those around him, but in the mean time he was thankful for the noise.
The loud buzzing of talking laughter was like static noise and made a good distraction from his own melancholy thoughts.
If wasn't noisy like it is know Gideon would likely be stuck inside his own mind, a dangerous thing. Silence can cause a person to dwell to much on things that are better left alone.
He looked around at the drunkards, party goers, and all of the in between. It was the same sight he always sees. "Another day and still the same."

OOC: lol I get that. I'm from Iowa all we have is corn, schrooms, and wind power. My cats like to sleep on my keyboard while I'm trying to write I can relate to that. my dog just wants to sit in my lap even though she a large dog, Doberman, she thinks she's a lap dog.

IC: Now she didn't have much of a choice. Ara's pride was now at stake, backing down would mean defeat. Can't allow that, her most important characteristic is her pride after all.
She watched him start to leave. It didn't take long for her to follow after. She kept a straight face like she normal but she wondered how high he was thinking about.
"Cocky little brat are we?" She mumbled it to herself but she didn't mind if he heard her or not. If that was how he wanted to be she would gladly accept him indirect challenge.
'A building not quite finished? Lovely, if that's how he want's to play this then so be it.' This her ultimate goal to show him up in mind she walked quickly to catch up with him.
"Let's go see this 'fun' building of yours, shall we?"

(Trying something new with my writing see if it looks neater.)

OOC: I like that idea!! (yea but has you can probably guess from above she doesn't use them.)

Ara stared at him with a raised eyebrow. 'With a branch?' He wouldn't have very much luck with that.
She told the dull dagger from Kori then gave him a little pet on the head. "This is you weapon? Not very useful."
The last part she mumbled to herself. Turning her attention back to Angel she listen to his nervous explanation.
Ara passed before saying anything. "That so..." with a sigh ara placed the dagger down by him. "Here take it. You should run along before you get yourself hurt or killed."
someone else could come alone and not be so kind or forgiving. "Might also want to do something about that injury of yours, even if it is minor."

OOC: true, the weather is unpredictable here. It could be sunny warm one minute the next storming rains or snow. What about there.

IC: Ara followed beside him in equal silence. She stopped beside him at the gate of the still under construction building.
As he was looking at the padlock she was more focused on the construction itself. Her gaze eventually made it's way tot he top. 'So that's what he meant...'
It was certainly higher then she was expecting. Bringing her attention back to the gate Ara watched the man climb over the fence. Seemed to her he was still trying to test her resolve.
"Long way or not make no difference to me." She never backs down from a challenge. Giving herself a mental kick-in-the-ass she climbed the fence after him.
After climbing over the fence she walked over to meet him at the lift.

Gideon continued to make is way through the streets when he noticed from a distance a group of men following a woman. For a few moment he didn't think anything of it.
As he was about to dismiss it as him being paranoid he saw them pull her off out of view, likely a side road or alley. 'Shit.' He couldn't very well leave her so he quicken is pace to a run but stopped by the corner he saw them disappear from. He glanced around to see how many there were. It would be dumb to just run head long into something dangerous.
After he assess his threat he turned around the corner to step in. He hoped to get them to back off peacefully but had no qualms using violence If he needs too.
"Gentlemen I insist that you leave young miss in peace." Doubtful they will listen but it might interrupt them enough for them to temporarily forget about her.

I'm sorry. Did I hurt your feelings?" She sarcastically replied. Ara listened to him defend himself as a 'resourceful person'.
It sounded like he was going to say something else but truthfully she didn't care and overall ignored it. "A dagger not used for killing?" She didn't understand why you would dull a dagger.
It was designed to kill, the idea of someone against it was almost unbelievable to her. 'Not sure whether his ideal is impressive or idiotic.'
It's impressive he would take on such a few in these times but at the same time it could get him into trouble. Ara watched has the blood from his injury stained his hand.
With a deep sigh she pulled the large ribbon from her hair. "Here use this to wrap it. Rip it shorter if you need to. I don't really care."

Ara shrugged. "Yea sure." She looked down at the cat by her legs. Giving the cat a small pat she turned back to Angel. She was ready to let him leave. "You do that."
That quickly changed when she watched the cat bring him the missing sheath for his dagger. catching a glimpse of the very familiar symbol on it she stopped.
"Actually on second thought stay right there for a moment." Ara didn't want him to run off quite yet, now that she thinks he wasn't being completely honest with her.
Turning her head to Kiro she called out to him. "Hey kitty kitty, mind if I see that?" The cat seemed okay with her so maybe it would bring it for her to see.
'Someone is hiding a rather important secret it would seem.'

OOC: Damn... our winters are just really bad where you end up sleeping in your car in a ditch.

IC: When the lift first started to go up she felt fine. Small height don't bug her but as it went higher and higher she started to feel a bit anxious.
Ara made sure to keep a straight face but she also steps ever so slightly closer to Asariel. As the lift arrived at the top she waited for him to step off first.
She followed shortly after him, following across the beam. She glanced downward to see the considerably large distance from here to the ground. Turning her vision forward again Ara stopped beside him but close to a steal pole for her to 'secure herself' with. She didn't say anything to him just watched for a moment. Truly this scene fit him.
Ara couldn't place what it was exactly but seeing him up here gave him this whole new look to her. Like he was different from when they were talking down below earlier.
For a short moment she didn't notice the moderate wind or her paranoid height of the ground. She just stared at him thinking to herself. Unfortunely she was also distracted from her footing and grip.
At the same moment a big gust of wind blew through causing her balance to slip and she started to fall. That few split seconds were quick but it was like a dark slightly sickening surprise to realize that you are no longer on the same solid ground you were just moments before. 'Shit!'

OOC: Sound perfect to me. my room is currently really really warm.

IC: Ara was about to save her own life but stopped seeing Asariel summon his wings and go after her. She was shocked to not only see him jump after her but to see he wasn't precisely what she originally thought. There was nothing left in the moment but to allow him to save her. After he gently placed her on the ground she just stared at him. She looked at him and then to his wings.
For what seemed like forever she just stared silently, thinking. Ara's response was likely just as unexpected as her discovering who he was. Instead of a normal response she broke out laughing.
She laughed to the point of almost tearing up. "I knew...you were...different..." She was struggling to get her whole sentence out between her laughing. "But this.... was unexpected."
Finally after getting her words out she managed to calm herself back to her original calmness. 'I don't think I've ever laughed that hard before.'

"Such a good cat." Ara smiled and held the sheath in her hand. She glanced at him for a moment watching his behavior before looking back to the item in her hand.
She turned it around and ran her hand over the symbol and gave a small laugh. This was a something she was very well acquainted with.
'I knew something was odd about him but he doesn't seem like hunter material.' The idea of this man whom not long ago just fell on his face was also a demon hunter was a bit amusing.
Finished looking at the sheath in her hands she turned her attention to Angel. "It's not very nice to keep secrets you know." She wasn't sure what to do with him.
Truthfully she had no interest in killing him. It seemed pointless to kill someone she had no contract against. To be more accurate she doesn't believe in killing unless she has too.
After contemplating what would be best she ultimately decided... she didn't care. Ara placed the sheath back down and took a few paces back. She could tell he was on guard.
Showing her uninterested attitude in fighting might calm him enough as well. "carful about showing off something like that." She said jokingly.

"Because if you don't I will be forced to cause all of you a great deal of pain and I'd much rather settle this civil." Gideon held a calm but serious attitude as he spoke.
As he was speaking he was also taking small steps forward, getting closer. Glancing over he saw Angelica's attempted escape and was going to attempt again.
If she was going to start getting violent then so would they likely. He can't have them harming a woman so he may have to skip the civil part. "Fine then..."
He mumbled as he readied himself for an offensive attack.

Taking that as his que Gideon jumped in. He had to give her props for fighting back.
using his fighting style he punch the man holding her in the side, hard, forcing him to let her go.
Now he just needs to make sure they didn't get up for a while.

OOC: Our summers are normally mild, about 70-80.

IC: Ara listened to him explain himself in silence. Some of what he said she partially knew the rest was new to her. She never bothered to pay attention to such things after all to her angels are all the same.
The way he described what his wings use to look liked actually sounded very nice. Ara watched Asariel's expressions as he trailed off.
"Personally I think the wings look good on you the way they are now." If it was really so rare it means he's unique. There is nothing wrong with that, at least in her mind.
Consoling people wasn't something she was good with but she wanted to give it an attempt anyway. She had no issues sharing a bit of herself.
Earlier she mentioned that she thought they were more alike then it may seem. Maybe telling him part of her story would give him some kind of comfort, strangely enough she didn't want him to be depressed. "When I first arrived here I felt lost. I had lost my purpose and wasn't sure what to do. After a while I learned being here honestly isn't that bad."

    THE FENIX EMPIRE

The seat of the empire, formerly a kingdom, is in the high mountains that divide the three main kingdoms. The castle that the king lives was originally a dwarves dwelling but after the dwarfs were massacred and the ones remaining were forced out and scattered. Most believe them to be extinct now but there a couple hundred left through the realm. The Fenix is a dark elven kingdom controlled by their king. Their proper name is Drow but other races just call refer to them as dark elves and are mistrusted by most everyone. When the king overtook the Kingdom of Territhia he left his daughter and son to rule the territory themselves while he went back to Fenix.

    MY CHARACTER

What happens when a fallen angel and a runaway demon cross paths? Ara was once one of the most respected demons in hell raising to the rank almost equivalent to a general. She was recognized by her beauty and knew how to use that to her advantage. However, after being accused of treason and imprisoned she, with the help of a couple of demon still loyal to her, escaped and vanished to earth. For almost 200 years they looked for her but never found her. She remained on earth living normally among them until one fateful night she happens to run into a recently fallen angel (you can decide the reason.).

Despite being angel and demon they clicked really well. Not long after the two started to grow closer. Meanwhile however, tension between heaven and hell rise to the point a war starting and earth seems to be the battlefield but unseen by the humans. With the increasing angels and demons it would only be a matter of time until the two are drawn in.
