Thanks for choosing me and Terrakit! I'll do my best to stay as active as possible, but I'll warn you all that I have a music program coming up that will be pretty much all day that doesn't end until July 6th, as well as a lot of night practices with my music groups (yeah, I'm a music chick). If someone could possibly send me a link to the thread when it gets up, that'd be great, since I'll most likely forget to check this thread often enough...

[[Ahh! I feel late DX This is my first 'being born' post, since in all the others I've done the kits kinda just... appeared... So here it goes.]]

He could feel the others moving around him, one lump falling away and then another a while later. He liked the new room in this warm-den; it had been somewhat cramped before. A third lump fell away, and the tiny kit twisted in his birth-sack, his paws stretching out to touch the walls of his mother's womb.

And then, he felt himself move. A pushing pull, as if there were some invisible paw tugging him out from his home. It wasn't an uncomfortable feeling, but he didn't like it.

And then the cold came. He tried to gasp, feeling something wrong with his chest, but his birthsack was still around him, and it choked him. So, so cold. And he felt so, so wrong.

Something rough touched him then, and he felt his sack break. He could breath then, and he gave a sputtering cough-breath, spitting the fluid from his mouth. The rough touch continued, but it wasn't so rough anymore, he decided, and more pleasuring. And he was warmer now. Not was warm as in the warm-den, no, but warmer than before.

He squirmed a little, realizing that he could still do that at least, and found himself pushed up against a wall of fur. It was soft, but there were other lumps there. Had the lumps from the warm-den made it here too? He gave a long exhaling breath, burying his face into the fur-wall. Just when he had gotten all that room...

His paws found their way to the fur wall then, and, almost on their own, began to knead the wall. It wasn't hard, he found, but very soft. And the more he kneaded, the more a delicious scent came out...

A drop hit his head, and the little tom-kit stuck out his tiny pink tongue, trying to lick it off. He got only a tiny bit, but it was enough. Whatever it was, he wanted more. His nose pressed to the fur, the tom-kit sniffed hard, a snorting noise coming from him, until the liquid drop went into his nose. He gave a little sneeze, shaking his head to get it out from his nose, then stuck his mouth to the source.

Sucking hard on the teat, the little kit relaxed, letting the sweet milk fill his mouth. So warm, so nice...

[[Thanks again for letting me back in, I'll try my best to make a good entrance post...]]

He'd been asleep for a while, hadn't he? His eyelids fluttered, blue-gren eyes peeking out from under the cream-orange fur. Where was he?

Tigerkit couldn't remember being awake. What had happened to him? He'd been living inside the warmth of his mother and then...what?

Carefully, cautiously, the little flame point tom brought himself to his paws. They were unsteady, he was unsteady, but they seemed to work well together. One step forward, then another; one paw in front of the other. He was walking, moving! He gave a little cheer, quietly though in case the others were still sleeping.

There were others, though, weren't there? He thought back, trying to remember memories that weren't quite there. There were other lumps when he'd been in his mother, at least. And if he was one of those lumps and he was here, then there must be others.

Tigerkit was going to find them. He gave a sniff, but he didn't recognize any of the scents.

But there were so many! Some were bitter, sour, disgusting. But others were sweet, milky... He wanted to follow that scent, then, and let his nose guide him, his paws shuffling on the ground. He didn't know where he was going, or what sort of thing would be there when he got there, but Tigerkit was going to follow that scent, whatever it was.

[[sorry I never replied "/ my laptop was taken...]]

Beastpaw barely saw the she-cat he ran past; she was nothing more than another blur of forest to him. But he heard her voice, calling out to him.

He stopped, turning around slowly. He didn't recognize her voice, so it wasn't anyone from his clan, at least. If it had been, he'd still be running.

She was a ginger cat, so she definitely wasn't from Shadowclan like he was. They had darker pelts to hide in the marshland. He gave a sniff, then, half wondering why another clan cat would be on his territory. But it wasn't Shadowclan scent he got.

<B>"Thunderclan?"</b> His question was more like a statement, half asking her, half telling himself. <B>"But this can't be Thunderclan. I didn't cross the stream..."</b> His golden eyes closed, his brow furrowing as he went deep into thought.

Taking a few steps back towards his own territory, Beastpaw felt his fur rise, his own body trying to make himself look more threatening. Ha! As if that would work.

"I'm sorry!" he cried, his tail lashing behind him. "I didn't know I'd crossed it. I thought I was still it my own territory."

Her ears were flat, and, Beastpaw guessed, her claws were unsheathed. This Thunderclan cat was going to try and fight him. His mother had been right about them at least, then. Thunderclan cats had it out for Shadowclan, and would fight them about whatever they could.

"I'm sorry!" he said again, his golden eyes wide. "Just... don't hurt me..."

    [[tahnks xD]]

The warm flow of milk kept coming from Bearpaw's teat, and as long as it was coming, he was going to drink it. His little paws pushed harder into her stomach, massaging her and find that the milk came faster when he did so. Only a few minutes old and he was already learning!

He was getting sleepy though, his milk-full body warm and tired. His head began to droop, his paws sliding lower and lower until his entire body lay curled against his mother's stomach on the ground. His breathing slowed as he fell asleep, and his entire body rumbled with his kitten purr.

[[my boyfriend lets me borrow his laptop sometimes, since my normal laptop has babysitter software that not only blocks just about every website but also only lets me on for an hour a day. so since he only used his for youtube and such, he let me have it so I at least had more to do than sit around in my room. I was sick with mono when I finally joined WCRPG, and found out that there was an unsecure wireless connection upstairs. Apparently I'd left the laptop up there one night and my dad found it so I had to give it back --which I would have had to do eventually, but gave it back prematurely none the less. So... yeah. That's how I had a laptop with out them knowing? They're actually not too bright, my parents. Its not hard to sneak things in and out of the house. --yeah, I'm a naughty child. Whatever. xP ]]

I'd like to try for Kink-kit! I'd have her name be Kinktail --and not just because you gave it as an option, but because I used to RP as a cat quite similar to Kink-kit with the same name xD

As for her roleplay sample, I hope you don't mind my using Poppydawn somewhat... I'm only going to have her be asleep and then wake up, but other than that, it's all gonna be Kink-kit:

There she was: Poppyclaw. The red-brown warrior was apparently napping. Kink-kit stifled a laugh. Napping! Napping was for kits! And even kits didn't like napping! But it was her own mistake, napping out in the open like that. Poppyclaw was going to get what she deserved.

Kink-kit kept her body low, her gray striped belly brushing ever so slightly on the ground. Each paw was brought up completely and carefully, her bright blue eyes locked on her half-sister's shining red fur. One step, two steps...

She was only a warrior's tail-length away now. She could jump from here if she wanted to. But Kink-kit had to be sure she'd land it just right...

"One more step," she whispered to herself, bringing her hind paws close to her front. She was in the perfect pouncing position, ready to--

--to leap! Her tail whirled wildly behind her, helping Kink-kit keep her balance. Her front paws were stretched out, aimed right at Poppyclaw's back. She'd land there as long as she'd jumped the right way...

And she had! Only, Kink-kit wasn't so great at landing. Her front paws hit her half-sister's back hard, but slid on her soft fur. Her claws came out of her silver paws, an accidental reflex. Her back paws hit then, pushing the tiny kit forward, and made her tumble off of Poppyclaw.

The russet warrior woke then, turning slowly to face Kink-kit.

She'd be mad, Kink-kit knew it. But how to make her not mad? Kink-kit thought fast, the tip of her gray-striped tail twitching. She turned to face her sister, then sat, wrapping her still tip-twitching tail around her paws.

"Poppyclaw!" she squeaked, her blue eyes wide. "What in the world are you doing here? I was practicing my hunting and then --BAM!-- you got in my way!"

Beastpaw's eyes grew even wider and he took a few more steps back from this --this Cornpaw. Why was she sniffing him so close? He could smell her from where she was before, so couldn't she had smelled him too?

"I --I'm Beastpaw. And I'm really from Shadowclan, even though I don't really like it there. My mom was one of the top warriors, you see, and so everyone expects me to be just like her and be great. Except, I'm not great. I'm just small and scrawny and weak and different then all of them. And so they hate me." Had he answered her question? Was that what is was like in Shadowclan? For him it was at least. He watched the ginger she-cat carefully, giving her a cautious sniff then.

"Wh-what about you...,Cornpaw? Why are you out here?" His voice was a little stronger now, he felt somewhat comfortable with this Thunderclan apprentice for some reason.

Shuffling against the movement of his siblings, Terrakit gave a tiny hiss and blinked.

--He'd blinked! His eyes did it again, opening a little bit more this time, then more, and more, until his eyes, still the bright kitten blue, were completely open.

He couldn't see all to much, since his eyes were new, but he could at least see. Shapes, colors, movement. Struggling to his paws, the tiny brown tom took his first few unsteady steps, wanting to move away from his bumbling siblings. His stomach was close to the ground, and it was closer to crawling than walking, but he was moving none the less. But soon he fell, having misplaced a paw. He went face-first into the ground, his nose getting covered in dirt.

Terrakit gave a helpless cry, feeling the hurt of his fall. He'd never felt hurt before, and the tom didn't like this new feeling.

Tigerkit's ears pricked. Tiger? That was his name! Or, well, at least part of it. He leaped to his little striped paws, but lost his footing and slid onto his left flank.

He snorted, half in annoyance at himself, and half from the small cloud of dust he'd brought up before rising more slowly. This time, he was able to stand perfectly fine. He took a few test steps before rushing outside, as there were few he knew inside the nursery.
"Did someone say tiger?" he asked quickly, his blue-green eyes wide and wildly searching the cats. He didn't quite recognize most of them. But he knew his father. And he knew Orchidkit. And Featherkit, too, he thought. He didn't add anything more, though; he just stood with a somewhat impatient stance, his kitten tail whisking behind him.

    [[terrakit's brown... xD]]

His mother had picked him up; or at least, whatever picked him up smelled like her. But Terrakit was sure it was her.

And then she spoke! But what did she say to him? They were sounds, so they must mean something... He cocked his head slightly, trying to listen harder.
But she'd finished speaking, at least to him.

The others were standing then, he noticed. And his vision had gotten better already! He could see them more clearly now, their plump little bodies and spindly little legs.

Terrakit, who had been sitting thanks to Bearpaw, stood agian, this time without much pomp and circumstance, as he knew he could do it this time. But as he moved his paws, he made sure to do so even more carefully, not wanting a repeat of his failure.

[i've got the same question xD haha]

"I'm Beastpaw." His amber eyes darted quickly to check his surroundings. "You might know my mother, Owlnight. She's one of the best warriors in Shadowclan, but..." His eyes fell to the ground. "i'm not like her. We're the same colors, almost, me being more brown-gray and silver, and we're both tabbies, but I'm more classic than mackeral." Beastpaw stood for a moment, showing off his pelt, but quickly sat back down.
"But I'm not like her. I'm not going to push myself to be the best cat in the clan with no weaknesses and be rutheless and ambitious and just... no!" His voice raised for the first time, cracking just slightly. Beastpaw's eyes grew wide for a split second before he dropped his head. "I'm not a great fighter, really. But I've just not been given a chance..."

So it began. From the warmth of her mother's womb to the cold, dark outside world. She wasn't sure if she liked it at first. Her mother's rasping tongue felt...harsh at first, but Fraudulencekit soon grew to love the feel of it. She wriggled to her mother's stomach and followed the scent of milk --such a sweet scent! Her little pink mouth found a teat and sucked hard, the creamy white liquid filling her mouth. She drank till she could drink no more, then let her head fall to her tiny paws. Being born was hard work, and soon the new born lynx kit was asleep...

    --two week skip--
She had awoken again, although now, for whatever reason, she felt different. She could..

--a squeak! She'd heard one! Fraudulencekit gave a little cry of joy. She'd heard something! Her head whipped around to find the source, and, for the first time, she saw that she could see!

It was blurry at first, but the right side became more clear after a few moments. She couldn't see out of the left though. It was clouded and strange. But that was normal for all kits, wasn't it? Fraudulencekit thought it was, at least for now.

--one moon, two week time skip--
She could walk now. She'd been walking for over a moon. One paw in front of the other, step step step. Her mother had had another litter, although this time there were only two kits. Fraudulence hadn't meet them yet, and she wasn't sure she wanted to. Beautylies was her mother; it was bad enough she had to share her with Halokit and the others, not more kittens.

The lynx point kitten gave a sigh as she lay back down among the heap of kittens. The two newborns were smaller than she was, but not by all too much. With them being nearly her size, Beautylies would look right over her...

She'd dropped her name. She was no longer Fraudulencekit. It sounded... too much. Of course, she didn't tell her mother. Beautylies wouldn't like that, would she? She called herself just Fraudulence, but no one else knew. That was how it would be.
    --two moon skip--
It had happened again. Her mother had more kits. Why did this keep happening? She didn't want these new half-siblings. She only wanted her mother, to keep her by herself on her own. Just her and Beautylies.

Fraudulence was bigger now. She was four moons old, almost at the clan cat's apprentice age. She'd started eating meat, real meat, two moons ago. She didn't like it at first, but now she did. The warm iron-taste of blood.. It scared her how much she enjoyed it.

    --two moon skip--
Six moons old. Known to the clan as Fraudulencepaw, an apprentice. Fraudulence was slightly anxious, but she was ruled by another emotion. Jealousy. Her mother had yet another litter of kits. So much time had gone by...

Of course, now Fraudulence liked the kits. She could help with these, watch over them, teach them to walk...

Perhaps this litter would be as bad as the other two?

She pushed into the nursery, finding it full of kits, and her adoptive father, Arenol. It was cramped, but Fraudulence was only still the size of a four moon old kit, so she at least had more room than the others. Silently, she watched the newborns, her tabby-tipped tail flicking slightly behind her.us

--forevahorse, I can have Fraudulence look after her; she's only six moons old, but she's interested in being a mother. Of course, the kit would come third in line after her apprentice duties and then her mother, but she'd at least have a home/parent. Also, if the kit didn't want to come with when Beautylies leaves the clan, Fraudulence would leave the kit behind. Probably.--

Fraudulence ducked her head. Her sisters hadn't notcied her. Nor her mother. She didn't know whether to be hurt or not. Her mother hadn't said anything to her, so that did sting, but the others... well, she could do without them.

A few steps closer: Fraudulence stood right next to her mother now, in the throng of her family members. The new kits were so small... Had she really been that size once?

Tigerkit pulled his tail out from Featherkit's paws, looking back at it's ginger tabby tip. It was fine, no harm done, but it had still felt weird.

Being a kit was tiring, and for whatever reason, it bored him. His mouth opened in a huge yawn, and he stared at Orchidkit with his blue eyes. "So... do you wanna play or something?" he asked her, not sure what to do, even with his own sibling.

--i have negative muse for him right now... ugh. also, if someone could temp him for me while I'm gone... I can usually get on during the weekends, but not always...--
