Hawkeyes determined that whoever he scooted close to in his sleep would be his mate because then his heart would have chosen for him.

Cloverclaw walked beside her purring and thinking of all the good times they would have together. Like watching their kits grow up.

He licked her back affectionately. "I wonder what our kits will look like." He said softly

They walk back to the warrior's den and curled up tight next to each other.

They slept peacefully and in his sleep Hawkeyes scooted closer to Bloodheart.
