The birds fall silent as a cannon sounds. Iris squeals at the sound because it surprised her. More cannons follow. 5..6..7..8... They stopped. signalling that 8 tributes were dead. Iris looked at Calina with big eyes.

Iris looks at Calina confused. "What? 24_..+-... Huh?"

"Oh, Ok," Sorry I... I never went to school." Iris fixes her flower and looked up at the sky.

Iris looks at the bread for a moment. Then looks out the window. How can he eat at a time like this?

"I never meet my father. And my mother... Well. She hated me. I was.. well... Raised by my dog... Mich.." Iris' eyes fill with water at the thought of her beloved dog.

"Oh she did hate me... She thought I was weak so she stopped taking care of me all together." Iris listened. "Aww... that's sad. But sweet. It doesn't mater if your related by blood. He'll always be your father." Iris eat another berry. "Umm, might aswell tell you this but... I don't eat meat..."

A happy-go-lucky woman walked into there train cabin. "Congrats! Hello my name is Alum (? sorry out of names x.x) I will be your mentor!" She sat down next to Behem. "So, What's your names dears."

Relieved that she was now alone. Iris climbed off the roof and headed back to the plant station. Making sure her pile was correct.

Iris smiles. "Yeah, that makes sense. Well i have to find some more herbs for my back. I'll be right back OK?" As Iris walks away and before she was out of site, she takes off the herbs from her back and dropped then on the ground, coverd in blood.

Iris finds the bush and returns with more herbs. "i see your finally awake Suou." She walks behind a tree and puts the herbs on her back. Once she was done she walks over to Calina and Suou and sits on a rock slowly. Eating more berries. "Yeah... but if you want some... Squirrel or something, you can..." She gulped at the word Squirrel. She shifted her pack around. Moving the herbs in the right place. "Ahh better..."

"Yeah I'm fine..." Iris sighs. "Don't worry about me... I've had and SEEN worse back home."

Iris rolls her eyes. "Believe me.. Or else ill have to SHOW you it isn't as bad as I have seen."

"Than-" Her words were cut off by the sound of a twig snapping. Her eyes widen and she scramble and climbs up the tree. Dragging Suou and Calina with her. Her teeth grit with pain but she knows she must climb.

Iris stares at a bush, eyes wide and arms shaking. "I can't climb anymore. Go up ahead and I will hide." She whispers through her teeth. She held onto a branch with one hand and a branch with the other.

Iris gaps as she sees the career pack again. "You still there? Your all weak!" A boy taunted.

Iris sees Dane and nods. "You going to call you little wolf bud? Well here he is!" The Careers show the dead body of the wild dog that Iris called yesterday. Iris gasped and her eyes filled with tears. As she closed her eyes. One of them threw a kine right near Calina's hand.

Iris looked near her side as a herb from her back fell down the tree. A Career picked it up and examined it. "Aww.. are you hurt? We'll put a stop to it. Just common down here." Iris looked at Calina in fright. Then through the bushes at Dane.

Iris squealed and held onto Calina's arm. Her eyes wide with terror. Please.... don't die....Please..
