He sighed. "It's okay, there are plenty more rabbits out there." He turned his head again, looking around him. "So who are you anyway?"

"Hornetsting. It's nice to meet you." He stood and turned to her once again.
-
"Well then, um," He kept looking around, obviously distracted by something. "Wha-um, what are you doing around...uh...here.?"
-
"Oh...um...cool." He turned to her. "Um, so are you in a clan?"
-
"Hard to explain, but I'm not sure if I am." He shrugged.
-
He looked around him again. He muttered under his breath, "I hope Birdchase is okay out there..."
-
"Oh, she's my little sister, I let her go out and hunt by herself, but now I'm worrying b'cause she hasn't gotten back yet..."
-
"Yeah...I know we just met, but do you think you could help me?"
-
"Okay, great." He smiled a bit as he began to run where he had left her.
-
He finally came up to where they were and tried to find his sister's scent. He got a strong scent in a moment and followed it to where she was."Birdchase? Birdchase! Are you okay?" She looked up from sunning herself and blinked. "Oh, hey Hornetsting, I'm fine."
-
He smiled and licked her ear. "I love you so much, Honeyfur, that I would die for you and my--no--our new family."

The tiny kits mewled and squirmed around. The little tom began to make his way to the edge of the nest, but Ginger put him back by her belly. "He's our little adventurer!" She purred and licked the kit.

A brown tabby tom saw the she cat by herself crying and decided to go over and see what's wrong. "Hey there. Why are you crying? Someone as beautiful as you shouldn't cry." His eyes were filled with worry as he looked at her.
-
She purred. "Daddy's little girl." She turned and looked at the second shekit. The other shekit is much quieter." She licked the shekit gently.
-
"Oh, you poor thing..." He put his tail on her shoulder. "It'll be okay, really. Life can be rough at times, but you gotta push your way through bad times, and you'll be happier than ever! I promise, just keep your chin up and your tail help high. Plus, this Whitewing cat doesn't know how much of a mistake he's made, choosing any cat over you. It's like trading great things for trash." He hoped he'd helped at all, but somehow he felt as if he'd made it worse.
-
"I know so, you deserve better treatment then that..." He wiped away her tears with his tail. "You don't need to cry. Everything will get much better soon...I just know it..."
-
"Oh, uuhh, I'm Oak." He smiled at her. "You have a much better name than me."
-
"Thank you." He purred. "Surprisingly, no one besides you knows my name now."
-
"Well, let's just say, I don't have many 'friends'..." He looked away.
