Flamepelt remembered all of this. She looked at her sister, and then went to get some fresh kill.

Smokepelt ran to the medicine cat's den. She got Cobwebs, Horsetail, and feverfew. The cobwebs were for the bleeding of the scratch. The Horsetail was to soothe the infection. feverfew was for the fever Silkstar got.

"I have to agree with Dawnstar. You do look like a mix of both of them.
"Okay" answered Stormkit. She didn't know what her mother looked like because she died just after she could open her eyes. she couldn't really remember what her father looked like either. She felt like a mis-fit because she was the only cat in the clan at the moment with a grey/black pelt.

This is when Stormkit got worried. "can I still sleep with you? I'm kinda scared and worried, and I already know I won't be able to sleep.
Flamepelt looked at Dawnstar. "Dawnstar, since sungaze isn't here, I will keep watch. I am well rested. You two get some sleep."

Stormkit followed her leader. As she walked in, she felt kind of strange. She knew that kits normally aren't supposed to go into the den. She was excited in a way, because she was seeing something that normally kits don't see, she felt lucky for this. Not lucky for her parents dead and missing.
