"Would that be son of Hector Barbossa, Captain of the Queen Anne's Revenge?" Nellie asked her eyes widening in awe. She had heard her fair share of pirate lore being the daughter of one and that name was one she remembered.

Um, Once the sisters leave the clan I could have one of my loners happen upon them and like befriend them and show them the ropes of life outside the clans.

Hi Lystie!
I'd like to adopt a charrie or two!Username:
[b]Display: Birdie.Muse Level (On a scale of 1 to 10): 8/10
Advanced?: Yes ma'am!
Charries wanted:
Sunmist & AlmondHow much will you use these charrie(s)?:
Geez, I have so many charries I need to get active meself! But honestly I have more exitement for newer characters and I plan on getting these two active if/ as soon as I find a good thread for them.Any plots in mind?:
Yes actually for Almond. I was planning on involving him in this plot where he kind of takes in these runaway clan apprentices and shows them how life is outside of the clans.Anything else you have to say? (hint hint):
I love you.
A bit much? Okay, you're probably right. On a more serious note, are there any threads you could possibly link me two that involve these two characters? Just so I can get a better feel of their personalities. :) -
A fond smile fell across Nellie's face as she thought of her Mum and she grinned at Miriam. "Aye, She was. A pretty close friend of 'im too." She remembered her mother recounting many stories about her time on The Black Pearl. mostly funny ones about Cap'n Jack and his antics.
She crinkled her brow as the girl pointed at the parrot, silent for once perched on her shoulder. Had her mother ever described a deckhand who constantly had some wily parrot with him? A few moments later her mouth dropped in surprise and she giggled "Cotton?" Nellie shook her head softly in astonishment and glanced from Miriam, to David and back towards the white-sailed ship anchored in the harbor. "Aren't we a savvy lot, aye?"
She jumped as someone that wasn't the three of them spoke up and turned in time to see another girl and a...dog coming their way.
-
Nellie smirked, the corners of her mouth twitching as she held back laughter at what Miriam had said. "A lass who'd like to join Missus Sparrows crew." she states obviously.

Asterkit, proud Thunderclanner and recently turned four moons old had been roaming about the camp bored out of her mind and possibly her paws in search of something to do. Did she really have to hang around inside of the camp for a entire 'nother two moons? A soft growl of exasperation rose in her throat and Asterkit gave her tail a cross whisk. It was improbable! Intolerable, In-
What was that? The unusually small she-kit halted, one paw lifted off the ground mid-stalk and her ears straining, twitching restlessly as she attempted to locate the source of the quavering mew. And she did, her violet tinted gaze coming to rest at the entrance to the camp. She resumed her pacing, this time with purpose to the camp entrance and found herself skidding to a halt facing two bedraggled looking kits. Eyes widening in astonishment her maw dropped open ready to ask a question but the other she-kit beat her to it. And she asked a very stupid question at that.
"You're in Thunderclan" Asterkit responded primly, almost scornfully as she gave the two kits a queer look.
"Everybody knows that!"
-
Nellie's eyes wandered over to David and another secretive smile crossed her features as she nodded once to Miriam's words. "Ah yes, most unfortunate that." she agreed then added slyly " 'Specially considering that men are a sight to behold." It would be interesting to say the least of all the potential crew mates who showed up all happened to be other women.
"A lady crew of pirates...the fiercest in the Spanish Main." Nellie thought aloud this time a bemused expression on her face.

Here's the deal:
My darling Asterkit Of Thunderclan is a bit of a stray wire. I thought it would be kind of funny if during some misadventure she ended up meeting this apprentice whom she develops this huge infatuation with even though he's more annoyed and embarrassed by her pestering than anything else. So it'll be like this one sided crush thing that I think would be fun to play out and every girl has to have that first crush right?
Who knows...Maybe it could turn into something else down the line when she finally becomes an apprentice too and he's a warrior or whatever. She's four moons old and currently bored out of her mind of the Nursery so...
If ya have any Thunderclan apprentice toms and are interested, apply here anyway you'd like.
-
No, No, You're application was good and I did say apply anyway that you like. I like him, especially the bit in there that says he thinks its uncool to be around kits. I think that Asterkit's talkative, stubborn, and sharp nature would clash pretty well with him. As for the forbidden romance, I'd rather keep it in Thunderclan because I honestly don't think Aster would be impressed by a Windclanner. X3
We should wait to be fair to any other applicants and then we can start if there are no more. :)

Nellie was the last to board the ship and she trailed her hand along the railing "Hullo, Captain Sparrow."
-
Asterkit shot Cateleya a resentful look, annoyed at how she had just showed up and all at once tried to take over the entire situation. Warriors, nosy boss paws the entire lot of them. When she finally received her apprentice name she hoped her mentor was actually cool and interesting. She raised her tail as she saw the flash of uncertainty in the tom kits eyes and stepped closer her whiskers pressed forward and brow wrinkled as she took in his scent and recoiled not a heart beak later.
"You're certainly not from Thunderclan!" Asterkit hopped back a few paces and tilted her head, regarding the two oddly silent kits in front of her. So, they wanted to stay here? Of course they did. Thunderclan was one of the best clans in the forest, who wouldn't want to join?
"What are your names?"
-
Well, This is the last call folks! Cherry if you'd like we could go ahead and start. Do you want to create the thread or should I?
-
As soon as she saw the strange kit, No Grimmkit began to shake she felt guilt gnaw at her belly like some starving rat. It hadn't been her intention to frighten him and Asterkit's eyes widened in alarm. How come when she was trying to be big and intimidating it usually didn't work out for her but here she was just being herself and this kit was quaking on the ground. Giving her head a small shake Asterkit slowly loped forward until she was standing in front of the night dark kit, stretching out her paw in what she hoped was a comforting gesture.
"Everyone?" Her voice echoed the earlier statement of the Warrior but Asterkit gave a mischievous grin, hoping to make him less nervous. "Don't worry 'bout my mouse-brained clan mates. You're accompanied by a Warrior and no one will harm you because you're my age. That's all the permission I would need to come into the camp if I were you."
-
XD I know! Kay then, I'll hop off to go make the thread and then I shall link you. :) Back in a tic!
-
Step by careful paw step a tiny shape edged it's way through the thorn barrier of the Thunderclan camp and emerged, twitching nose first to the forest on the other side. If she was found out, she would be in a world of trouble. This fact, which should have alarmed the kit only sent a jolt of excitement shooting from the tip of her ears and down to her paws. Because this was Asterkit and she had waited until the opportune moment to sneak out of camp. That moment being the heartbeat her mother had taken her attention of her to take a nap.
I won't get into trouble unless they find me first. Asterkit gave her coat a shake and tilted her chin up towards the sky, awed by the enormous trees that rose from the ground until their knarled branches shook against the huge blue underbelly of the sky like claws. "And they won't!" she mewed aloud, confident before she set off in a mad dash toward the trees, ignoring the undergrowth that pulled at her Nursery soft fur. First things first, she had to get out of sight of the camp. And that meant heading so far into the trees that she couldn't make out the entrance anymore. Once that was done, Asterkit skidded to a halt, quite noisily crunching dead leaves under paw and panting. Risking a quick glance over her shoulder. She couldn't see anything but mossy tree trunks. And grass.
Well that about settles it. Asterkit plopped down on her haunches for the moment. Now what?

Here's the linky
!

"Ah, Tortuga. This is how much I'm not going to miss you. Except maybe the free rum." Nellie shrugged casting another curious glance around the ship. Technically the rum hadn't been free...more like grabbed from the hands of passerby who were too drunk off their arse to really noticed or drunk at the bar without paying her tab. She was rather adept at blending into the crowd well enough to sneak out of any pub unnoticed by the bartender.
This was an amusing place to visit. Not that fun of a place to be stranded on. She wasn't that big into rum or any other drink for that matter.
-
Oh foxdung.
Asterkit almost plunged into the nearest thing available for her to hide in, which was a very unpleasant looking holly bush but that would have been mouse brained because she had obviously been spotted. Not to mention running and hiding was something that only scaredy mouse kits do and she was not a scaredy mouse. So she took the next best option. Tilting her chin Asterkit rose up onto the very tips of her toes and her best effort to look taller than she was, a natural defensive motion for her considering that she was small even for four moons. Remembering the Warriors around camp when they scolded younger cats she fixed an expression of righteous indignation on her features and narrowed her eyes at the tom.
"What am I doing here?" Asterkit repeated, stressing the I bit. "I think that I was hunting for my clan...which is what all good apprentices do." That's right. If you can't beat 'em, join em. Besides, judging from how tall this cat was and the way he carried himself she was guessing he was an apprentice. And when would be the next time she got to speak to an apprentice of all cats? Asterkit's tail gave a small flick of excitement. He's got to be so much more interesting than all of the other kits in the Nursery combined! She would keep up this charade as long as she possibly could. Something exciting was finally happening to her and she was not about to just pad back to boring camp willingly. Shaking herself from her thoughts Asterkit gave her tail a dramatic flourish.
"What are you doing here?"
-
Asterkit flattened her ears, her pelt growing ever hotter as she was laughed at by this apprentice. He was blubbering something between his laughter that she could only barely just make out although she was pretty sure it was disbelief at her front of being an apprentice as well. Each moment that his laughter bounced through the air was another second that her temper soared all the higher, her tail began to swish back and forth like a miniature snake in the grass and her fur rose, making her look even younger rather than bigger as her claws ached from being flexed into the half frozen ground so hard. By the time he had composed himself to start speaking, mockingly to her again the she-kit's eyes were bright with the white hot irritation that lanced through her even more strongly than her earlier excitement. Just as Asterkit opened her jaws, on the edge of a burning retort something happened that saved Roadpaw from her scorn. He smiled at her. The young cat actually grinned down at her and Asterkit's ears perked in surprise. None of the other apprentices ever even spared her a second glance and here he was, a real apprentice actually talking to her and smiling at her. Bypassing the fact that he was laughing at her and not because of her she felt pleased.
"Please. Why would I be afraid of some stupid little mouse? If a mouse did come running up, I'd catch it!" Asterkit hopped to her paws as Roadpaw gave her a little nudge although she made no move to make her way back to the camp. Instead she stared up at him with comically big eyes. "And second, that's what I was just about to do right before you came running up. Roll in that grass over there, I mean."
Asterkit gave a small sniff as she said this, just so he would know that she obviously was aware of this. "What's so special about camp? We should definitely stay out here so you can tell me all about your adventures as an apprentice. I bet you have a LOT of them!" She was going a mile a minute now, practically skipping in place in excitement.
"M' names Asterkit, What's yours?"

Grinning, the young woman caught a glimpse of Miriam beckoning her to join her up in the rigging. She dashed across the deck and began the climb up the rigging, just as careful and surefooted as a cat.
"'Ello horizon" She said once she reached Miriam, and raised one hand in a mock salute while the other held firmly to the rigging. Nellie began to tug experimentally at the ropes that secured the sale that they were working on remembering the work she had watched her mother and crewman do aboard Anamaria's own ship.
"Have you ever sailed before?" Nellie asked, sparing a quick glance at Miriam.
