Lavaflow leaped to her feet, letting out a yowl of suprise and anger. She was knocked over by Tiponi's pounce, but she quickly spat a small blob of lava at him, hoping it would at least distract him enough for her to get to her paws again.

She dodged just a barely a second too late, and Tiponi's claws made shallow slashes in her right foreleg. Growling, Lavaflow planted her paws firmly on the ground and, shivering slightly, began to heat the air around her as quickly as she could. As the leaves on the ground around her began to smoulder some rational part of her mind told her to stop, she could easily win without starting a wildfire, but the rest of her mind told that small part to shut up. She hadn't had a good fight to take out her frustration on in moons, and she wasn't going to just let this one go.
