Jay shrugged, rolling onto her back and quietly listening to the chatter of cats as she began to drift off.

Amber poked her head out of the bushes. The Eevee-Cat knew she was late for the "party", but she had gotten a tad bit distracted along the way. She gazed around.

Jay had been dreaming about her days as a kit when she was awoken by a gentle poking to her side.

"I wonder what's going on right now...." Amber murmured, swishing her fluffy tail as she trotted out into the open.

Amber trotted up to one of the lab's few windows and peered in. She could see humans in white lab-coats walking around, and a few test tubes here and there.

Jay opened her eyes to see a tall, gray tom looming over her. "Kobra?" She blinked.

"Mhm." The tom responded.

The young she-cat thought she saw some small kittens floating in the tubes. She tilted her head curiously, wondering if she could manage to get in to get a closer look without being caught.

Amber hopped down from her perch on the window and began trekking around the lab, searching for a way, any rather secretive way, to get in.

Amber found a small hole, just big enough for her to squeeze through, and peeped in. The Eevee-Cat found herself peering into one of the lab rooms. "Hello?" She called softly

Amber scrambled her way in as she thought she had heard another voice, particularly Fireflies voice. "Is anyone there?" She mewed.

"Haven't seen you in a while." Jay mewed casually, closing her eyes again. "Where've you been?"

"Ah, y'know. Here, there. Wandering about." Kobra laid down next to his friend.

Amber shrugged. She must've been imagining things, The young Eevee-cat trotted towards an open doorway.

Kobra stretched out in the cold snow. "So how've you been?" He yawned.

"Eh. I've been okay." Jay sighed, rolling onto her side.

Kobra stood up, stepped over Jay, and padded into the water. It felt warm and pleasant against his fur.

Amber soon found herself in an empty hallway. There were various doors scattered about, probably leading to lab rooms and testing chambers. She wondered where she should go.

She decided on a room that seemed to be somewhat lit and nudged the door, making it open a little. She peeked in. She saw various humans in lab coats.
