Alex nodded and thought for a moment. "We should do this more often." he decided, but looked at Billie for approval, seeing if it was alright with her. It was more of a question than a statement.

Ray almost smashed into Portia sitting on the floor but she stopped in time. Instead of going around, or whatever she could have done, she felt concerned at the sadness this girl showed and crouched down low. "Hey, why the long face?" she half smiled, trying to show some humor in her words.

Fae tilted her head and grinned, feeling a lot better. She twitched her ears and they jangled a bit quietly. "Where did you come from before? If you don't mind me asking." she felt curious.

Fae's eyes glittered with interest. "Wow. You've been through a lot." she empathized. "Do you think you'll ever find her? Your sister I mean."

Ray grinned. "Guy trouble sucks. I've been there." she added quietly then turned to Remi. "I'm guessing he's your brother?" she raised an eyebrow curiously.

Dawley hung up his green apron. "I'm going to hockey practice Jimmy!" "Alright have fun Shane!" the chef called out to him. Dawley quickly walked out of the school's restraunt and slowed his pace when he started heading for the doorway. He saw Ray and walked over. "Hey, long time no see. Hey." he lifted his chin in greeting to Portia and Remi. "I'm going to hockey. Peace yah later." he saluted and jogged out of the school towards his dorm room for his uniform.

Fae felt a stab at her heart. She blinked as if to clear the feeling away with her eyes. "I used to live behind a twoleg meat place called a Butcher's before I was taken by a human. They did stuff to my fur and poked holes in my ear, many, many times, just to stick metal rings and stones in it. It looks horrible, but I don't mind after a while. I got out, talked to my friend, went on a journey and..." she shrugged and chuckled, "here I am!"

Ray nodded, shifting her bag on her shoulder. "That's a good brother you got there. Don't lose him." she said playfully. Looking down at her watch she started heading down the hall, heading for English. "It was nice meeting you! We should talk again soon!"

Dawley drove to hockey practice.

Fae purred in agreement and stretched out her toes. "It's going to be nice being around other cats too who don't want to always kick you out of your home." she sighed. "'Cuz we'll all have the same home!"

Fae tilted her head sideways again and took a closer look at the tom for the first time. She didn't want to say anything, afraid it would be weird, but she thought he had beautiful eyes, unlike her bright green eyes with brown flecks. She shook her pelt quickly, thinking of what to say next. It was nice talking to someone.

ic~ Fae flashed a smile at Raven, looking around again to see if they were going to be assessed soon. She hoped that they would make it, and this was her chance to find out. She smiled at Omen too and wondered what everyone was thinking.

Ray sat in English, slowly falling asleep in her book. After a few minutes, her eyelids heavily closed and she fell asleep. She was jolted awake by the teacher. "Raylie! Why were you just snoring and drooling on your book? You weren't sleeping were you?" she spat out the last question sarcastically. So Ray through some venom her way too. "No I was practicing my lines for the schools play. I play Wilbur in Charlottes web and i havent the time to get the part right." she said bored.

Dawley came back to the school. He got a phonecall half way to practice saying he needn't to come in today.

She was itching to try and see who was going to take her, but couldn't find anyone. She looked back at Raven. "You think we can hang out some time after this?" she tilted her head. "If we both get in and stuff I mean." she felt flushed and embarrassed again.

Fae smiled brightly but it soon faded when he followed his gaze at the two cats staring over at them. She narrowed her eyes, wondering if they were really staring over this direction, or just looking past at something else. She shook her head and returned her attention. "Awesome!" she purred, feeling warm from nose to tail tip.
