Ashwhisker curled into a ball in his mossy bed. His head was on his paws and his amber eyes were clouded by loneliness. "I doubt I'll ever find love." he murmured.

Whitepaw looked down at the ground her face felt hot.

Snowpaw nodded and dashed away. He quickly caught a mouse, then a squirrel. He soon spotted a chaffinch. He got ready to pounce.

Whitepaw smiled sweetly "Sure." she purred.

"Hey!" Snowpaw growled "That was mine!"

"Alright, but be warned I might catch all the fish in the river." She mewed jokingly.

"Humph, fine." he meowed still a little angry.
